I woke up, to a smell of toast. I had no idea what time it was, but it must of been very early in the morning.

"Morning Toothless". I yawned rubbing the sleeps out of my eyes.

I got out of bed and walked downstairs with Toothless.

Sitting at the table was Mrs McCarthy and Lady Felicia.

"Morning, my name is Lady Felicia, Mrs McCarthy was telling me about you. Oh and you must be the remarkable creature she was on about". Lady Felicia said.

"I'll just go and wake Father Brown, he doesn't normally sleep in". Said Mrs McCarthy.

Lady Felicia was stroking Toothless, he was enjoying it. Toothless always got the centre of the attention, when new people were around.

"Oh dear, it seems we might have a bit of a problem". Mrs McCarthy said.

I looked at her in confusion. Toothless knew they was something wrong, he made a small roar.

"What has ever happened". Felicia asked.

"He's gone, I checked upstairs and downstairs, but he no where to be seen". She replied.

This is bad really bad. He can't of just disappeared can he? I know there are many murders here but what has happened.

"Sure he just isn't outside, somewhere". I asked.

"I'll have a look". Felicia said.

"Well one thing for sure, he will be found, there's bound to be a simple explanation". I said reassuring.

A few minutes later
"He's not outside I looked outside around the house but he is nowhere to be seen". Felicia said with disappointment.

"Looks like we got no choice but to call the police". Mrs McCarthy said with disappointment as well.

10 minutes later
Me and Toothless were searching the church to find Father, when a black police car. Drove up to the house.

It was the Inspector and the Sgt. I ran up to the house to see what they were going to say.

"Interesting, so out of all the people that have gone missing Padre has to been one of them". Sighed the Inspector.

"I think it was kidnap, not murder". McCarthy suggested.

"So do I". I agreed.

Inspector Mallory turned to look at me. "Ah the little trouble maker I met yesterday". He said.

"She doesn't look like a trouble maker". Sgt said.

Mallory gave him the evil glare. "I would love to help, but you see I've got better things to worry about, instead of a missing priest". The Inspector said walking out.

Hang on a second, isn't that your job to find missing people, and solve crimes. Just because you don't like them doesn't mean you shouldn't look for them.

"You come back here this instance". Lady Felicia shouted. "You will go and find Father Brown right now".

Inspector Mallory sighed. "Fine, but I'm not promising anything".

And just like that he walked off down to the car, with Sgt following him. Then they drove off.

"What's going on here, did I just see them up here?". Asked Sid who was walking up to the house.

I nodded. "I'm afraid Father Brown has gone missing".

"That's terrible, where has he gone?, has anyone seen him?". Sid was asking too many questions at once.

We shook our heads. "Well I'm going to do something about it Lady Felicia and I will go and look for in the village". Sid said.

"The inspector is going to find him". I noted.

"Yes but he won't find him before I do". Sid replied.

It took us a while to tell Sid not worry and he will turn up, but he wouldn't listen instead he got up and walked out.

"I'll go with him". Felicia said.

"And me as well as Toothless". I added.

"You can't all go, look I know you don't trust the Inspector but at least give him a chance". Mrs McCarthy said. "Good luck, if you find anything or any evidence".

"Don't give it to the Inspector, right got it, Bye". I joked. "Right I'll fly above the town with Toothless we'll get a great view from up there".

"Okay will meet here back at lunch time, so I say somewhere about noon". Lady Felicia said.

Off we go to look for Father Brown.
