The missing Father (#1 in the series)

The plan goes forward

My part of the plan was to convince the Inspector to go to the woods, with some help from Lady Felicia.

Toothless's part was to hide in the woods, and act like a wild dragon. Which shouldn't be to hard for him.

Sid and Mrs McCarthy were tying up the Father in the woods.

"Are you sure about this?". Mrs McCarthy asked getting worried.

"I'll be fine Mrs M, you don't need to worry. I've got it under all control". He said reassuring.

Felicia and I were at the station. We walked in Goodfellow was there at the desk at usual. He was abut surprised when he saw me.

"Oh, your back". He said. "Something bad happened when you weren't there".

"Is the inspector in?". I asked.

Goodfellow nodded and pointed at the door, I knocked on it looking at the shiny name plate on the door.

'That name plate will shine even more, very soon'. I thought to myself.

"Come in". Said the inspector.

Lady Felicia and I walked in. Inspector Mallory looked up from his newspaper and saw us. He immediately got up to walk over to us.

"What in the world were you thinking, going missing like that". He shouted at me. "I had Sid grabbing me by the shirt, and pinning me against the wall. Ask where in the world you were".

He then calmed down and muttered. "Oh and your "dragon" friend".

Sid had done that, I tried to imagine Sid doing that. Which wasn't quite that difficult, I wondered if Mallory was terrified?

"Anyway, we here to tell you something". Lady Felicia said.

"What?". Asked the inspector giving me an evil glare.

"Well we wondering if you have checked the woods". Felicia said.

Before Lady Felicia could finished her sentence. Goodfellow came in, to report something.

"Sir, someone has just reported that something is going on in Crows Wood". He said.

"What do you mean something is going on?". Mallory demanded.

Looks like the plan has started before we had the chance of convincing the inspector.

"Should we got and sort out what ever is going on?". Goodfellow asked.

"What do you think". Mallory said putting on his jacket and hat.

I let the inspector walk out, before we followed him. He got in the black car and drove off.

"Goodfellow you should come along just in case". I said.

"Just in case?". He asked.

Lady Felicia and I nodded, the Sgt got someone to cover his place while he was gone. We all walked out of the station to the woods.

"Should we tell him what's actually going on?". Lady Felicia whispered to me.

"Hmm, that's actually a good question". I answered I thought about it for a second. "No we shouldn't,".

Finally we got to the woods, I saw the Inspectors car. It looked like he was already going straight into the plan.
