Toothless was circling the town, up in the blue cloudy sky. I was looking through a telescope to get a better shot.

Down below I could see Sid walking around very quickly looking left and right. Lady Felicia was doing the same.

I could see the police station, the church, houses, and lots of other buildings.

"Do you see anything bud?". I asked.

Toothless shook his head. We kept looking until Toothless got tired. We flew down to stop and rest outside the police station. This was hard work. He could be anywhere.

"I guess you could say it was like looking for a needle in a haystack". I joked.

Toothless laughed so did I. "I wonder if the Inspector has found anything". I said.

After 10 minutes later. I asked Toothless to help search again, but he refused. It was probably because of the very long trip yesterday, flying from one country to another.

"Ok 5 minutes more of resting then we have another look". I said.

He nodded in reply. I went to look around the area, while Toothless began to sleep. I looked behind the houses, around the buildings, but I just couldn't find him.

"Toothless I really thought looking from above would give us advantage, but it clearly isn't". I sighed.

"You'll have to do a lot more than looking around the village". Sgt said, coming out of the station.

"Oh hi". I replied. "Like what else would I have to do".

"First of all, you would need to know how to start a case". Advised the Sgt. "If you come in I could show you how to start a case".

"Alright, is the inspector in?". I asked.

"No he is out at the moment". He replied.

Sgt lead the way in the station and Toothless and I followed. We went into the inspector office to find a very messy desk with case files all over the place.

"Here's a good one". Sgt handed me a very old case file. "He never got to solve this one, hadn't even come close to solving it".

"Let me guess Father Brown solved it?". I asked.

Sgt nodded. I opened the case file and read through it. It was about a murder though I didn't see how it was going to help us.

"But this is for murders". I said.

"Yes but it give you a good starting point, you could look through some other ones". The Sgt offered.

While I was looking through them, I could see where I had to start. The Sgt was starting to stroke Toothless. As far as I know I had to find out who saw him last, and see if he was acting strange.

I also had to think if some reasons why he went missing, and I also had to think who would do it.

Suddenly I heard Mallory's voice. "Sgt, Sgt...Goodfellow where are you". He demanded.

"I'm in here sir". He replied.

Inspector Mallory rushed in to see me looking through some old case files, and he was not happy.

"What are you doing in here?". He asked, giving me and Toothless an evil glare.

"She was just wondering how you would start a case". Sgt replied covering up for us.

"Get out, your beginning to remind me a lot like Padre". Mallory shouted pointing to the door.

I walked out, as I was told. Toothless growled and have him a sign he was not happy which was swaying his tail about.

"If I see her once more...I'll". He sighed.

"Sir you can't lock her up if she is just trying to help". Sgt said.

"Are you telling me how to do my job Goodfellow?". Mallory asked.

"No sir, sorry sir". He replied.

I left the place in frustration, all I was doing was just trying to help. Great isn't I hate it when you are trying to help and they hate you for it.

"Come on bud, we don't need him, plus I have got a great idea of where we need to start". I said. "We'll walk up to the house".

Toothless agreed, I think he hated Inspector Mallory as well I couldn't blame him, he is a rude person.
