It is Wednesday today, four more days until Sunday, four more days until this week is over.

I woke up thinking about the good possible day we were going to have.

"Morning Toothless". I yawned.

Toothless roared in reply to say good morning. I got out of bed and walked down stairs. Mrs McCarthy and Sid were here.

"Right". Sid said. "I think we should drive up to the countryside and have a look around". He suggested.

Mrs McCarthy didn't really agree. Sid was wearing his uniform today, his green jacket with a matching colour of trousers, his black gloves, with the same coloured boots.

"Is the Fathers bike here?". I asked half asleep.

"I'm not quite sure, but I'll have a look". Said Mrs McCarthy getting up.

Sid had made some toast, but I think he made to much there were fours slices of toast. Sitting on the table.
I went to eat two slices, it was alright as some parts of it was burnt.

Mrs McCarthy came back in. "No it's not there".

"That means, he has probably taken his bike". I suggested. "Take the slow lane to the countryside".

So that means he has took his bike, because traveling on a bike can be slow.

"Off we go then". Sid said walking out very happy.

"Sid". I called.

He was about to get in his car, when he looked at me.

"Toothless and I will fly above, because he will not fit in your car". I noted.

He nodded, as Sid got in his car, I said to Toothless to follow the car from above. Toothless nodded in agreement.

I mounted him and we took off. The sky was very cloudy, so cloudy you see any blue it was just grey clouds. The sun wasn't even shining either.

Somewhere in my gut feeling I could sense this day wasn't going to be good at all, which meant that Father Brown wasn't going to be found today.

We were out at the countryside. I told Toothless to land, Sid had stopped his car and got out.

The countryside was nice and very quiet. The long road which went straight down with fields on each side the fields were surrounded by a stone wall. On one side of the field was a small area with green trees.

"So where exactly are we looking?". Sid asked.

I shrugged. "Maybe in the very small area of woods". I pointed.

"What is it with you and woods?". Sid asked.

"Nothing". I replied.

There was a little path between the field and the wall. We walked on the path to the little woods.

"Mrs McCarthy did confirm that the letter was written by him". Sid said.

I looked at him in confusion.

"It was in his hand writing". He continued. "Try shouting out for his name, nobody will hear us".

"FATHER". I shouted at the top of my voice.

Toothless roared very loud, Sid shouted as well. All this shouting was giving me a headache.

"Wait". I said. "Can you do Inspector Mallory's voice?". I asked Sid.

"I could try, wait you want me to shout what he calls him don't you?". Sid replied I nodded.

"We should also split up, Toothless and I'll will take the fields". I suggested.

"And I'll do here, ok then". Sid said.

Toothless and I walked out of the woods, and started to look around the fields. Toothless made a small roar to suggest we should fly.

I got on Toothless as he flew up into the sky. Below I could see a lot of fields, but the area was far to open so I couldn't really see where you could hide.

"It's far to open bud there would be nowhere to hide". I noted he agreed. "How about we fly above the woods?". I asked.

Toothless flew to the woods. We looked below, but we couldn't really see anything above because the trees were in the way.

"This day couldn't possibly get any worse". I shouted Toothless could feel my frustration he made a little reassuring roar to say it will be fine.

As we flew back down to the ground, Sid had come out of the woods.

"I see you haven't found anything". He said disappointedly. I nodded.

We decided to have a break before have a good proper look in the little area of woods. Sid had brought lunch with him, sandwiches, some of Mrs McCarthy's award winning strawberry scones, and some fish for Toothless.

"She won't now that a couple have gone missing". Sid said eating a scone.

No wonder why Father Brown and Mrs McCarthy called them award winning they were the best scones I have ever tasted.

After our break we decided to have another look. Sid wasn't really helping out much, he was leaning on a tree smoking.

"Are you going to help?". I asked.

"I've already looked, plus Lady Felicia thinks you should stay at hers the night so make sure you follow the car".

We searched for another few hours, but it was hopeless. Sid got into his car and started to drive back to Kembleford to Lady Felicia's house. Toothless and I followed from above.

"Felicia's house is big Toothless, so mind your manners". I reminded him Toothless nodded.

As we flew in the fading grey cloudy sky, I had an idea maybe the little note was supposed to through us off the scent. What if he was in another town near Kembleford?

I let that thought sink in then I told Toothless about it. He made a small roar saying that could be true.

"Look bud there it is, Lady Felicia's house". I pointed as we saw it in the distance.
