"Why can't you stay any longer?" Young Naruto asked Boruto once they all tied up Hotatsu and got out of the cave.
"It's dangerous if everyone in the village finds out the adult versions of you guys were in the village. It could also mess with the time stream." Boruto shrugged, "time travel really is that dangerous."
"I bet..." Naruto sighed.
"Besides." Adult Sasuke added, "these two have already ruined the time stream just by coming back here."
"So once you return back, things will be different?" Naruto asked.
"No. That's why I set a Jutsu in place so that when we leave, you'll all forget even meeting us." Sasuke explained.
"Aw..." Younger Sakura sighed, then turned to Sarada, "I guess I'll have to learn that Jutsu on my own."
Sarada chuckled, "it's really not that hard. I'm sure you'll get it in a pinch." With that, she hugged her. Then Sasuke walked up to her, "look, about that spar..."
"I was wrong. I really should've just admitted that you may have been stronger than me back there." Sasuke shoved his hands in his pockets, "but... That was just me going easy on you, you're just a kid."
"Hey, you're a kid, too." Sarada smirked and crossed her arms.
"Shut up." Sasuke turned away.
"I forgive you." Sarada smiled finally, then hugged him, too. And to everyone's surprise, he sighed and hugged her back.
"Boruto..."
Boruto turned to see Hinata. He smiled and ran to hug her, "thanks for everything."
"I don't want to ever forget you, Boruto." Hinata smiled as she hugged him.
She finally let go of him, and he walked over to Naruto.
"Well..." Naruto turned to Boruto, "I guess this is bye."
"Uh-huh." Boruto nodded sadly, then held out his fist.
Naruto looked down at it, then giggled, completing their fist bump, "can't wait to meet you again."
"You know it!" Boruto nodded.
"Guys, let's take a picture!" Adult Naruto pulled out his phone.
"Whoa!" Younger Naruto gasped, "what is that?!"
"New technology." Boruto laughed.
"Get together!" Adult Naruto ordered as he made a Shadow Clone, handed his clone the phone, then ran to join the group, "everyone say 'ramen'!"
"Loser..." Adult Sasuke coughed, "no one's saying that..."
Everyone just laughed as the picture was taken.
"Okay." Naruto put his phone away, "Boruto, Sarada, you two got us here. Now you two are getting us back."
"Fine..." Boruto groaned as he reached into his pocket and got the Time-Space Jutsu scroll out, then rolled it open onto the ground, "Sarada, you ready?"
"Uh-huh." Sarada walked up to one side of the scroll and Boruto stood at the other side. The two looked back at the four kids there with them, then smiled.
"Bye!" Young Naruto waved as Boruto and Sarada performed the hand signs.
"Thanks for all the help." Sasuke added.
"We'll see you again." Boruto grinned, then turned back to the scroll, "Time-Space Alteration Jutsu!"
As soon as he and Sarada slapped their palms onto the scroll, the same bright light flashed, and they, along with their parents, vanished into thin air. Along with their younger selves with no memory of ever meeting any of them.

"So we came back and everything was back to normal. Nothing had changed except for the memory of meeting our parents when they were little."
"What was my dad like?" Shikadai asked bluntly.
"Oh, your dad was a great leader and acts just like you, you know?" Boruto chuckled.
"How about my dad? What was my dad like?" Inojin asked Boruto.
"Uh..." Boruto scratched the back of his head, "come to think of it, your dad wasn't there..."
"I'm sure my dad was so fit back then!" Chocho bragged to Sarada, "wasn't he?"
"Oh, uh, yeah..." Sarada chuckled nervously.
"My mom couldn't have been there, could she? She told me she didn't live in the Leaf Village." Shikadai crossed his arms, "and that she lived where Uncle Gaara and Uncle Kankuro are right now."
"Yeah. That makes sense." Boruto nodded.
"So..." Sarada turned to Boruto, "did Lord Seventh punish you in any way as soon as we got back last night?"
"Oh yeah... Dishes for a month..." Boruto sighed, "but then again, he seemed so much happier. Maybe after revisiting the past? It was confusing for me."
"Yeah, my mom and dad definitely seemed happier..." Sarada tapped her glasses, "it shouldn't matter."
"Uh-huh." Boruto nodded, then waved to the group, "well, it was fun sharing stories, and all, but I have to go! See you guys later!" He waved to them as he ran faster and faster towards home.
As soon as he got home, he ran through the door and into the kitchen, "hey, Mom!"
"Boruto!" Hinata stood behind the counter, "you really have no idea how relieved I am to see that your father found you. I was worried."
"Sorry, Mom. Didn't mean to worry you." Boruto smiled as he walked over to her and gave her a hug, "but trust me when I say that I think it was totally worth it."
"I'm sure. Naruto told me about it last night." Hinata grinned.
"Yeah." Boruto smiled to himself, remembering the moments he shared with his mom's and dad's younger selves. It definitely wasn't for that long. But if I could redo those few days over, I definitely would. Boruto grinned as he caught sight of the new picture frame hanging on the wall, and in it was the picture that they took when they went back in time.
