A circle of Death Eaters hung their heads low as Voldemort punished them one by one, relishing as he witnessed their suffering. Cassiopeia's eyes danced across the dark room taking into consideration that Severus Snape was not amongst the ones to be punished. Nor where several others. One tall figure was pressed up against the stone wall, blood trickling from his face, his robes burnt and torn. His blonde hair was as-cue, his eyes red and puffy and his lip and jaw were swollen twice it's normal size. The Dark Lord had cast a curse at him, smashing him into a window that shattered on impact, set his ropes on fire, and used countless other wordless spells that had him bleeding and bruising all along his weakened body. Cassiopeia gazed at Lucius from the corner of her eye as he slumped closer to the floor- broken and childlike. She wanted to go to him; to help him to his feet. He glanced at her through half shut lids, holding her emerald orbs. They shared much with that one look and he managed to stand, but just barely. A silent sob crashed into her chest for him, but she dare not move whilst their leader was on the rampage.Â

She  directed her glare back to the Dark Lord. For the first time....... in years, "Fear" .....overcame her.
To fear something, to be frightened, terrorized, or scared, is to be weak.Â
To fear something is to grant it power over you.Â
And when fear knows it has the power, it is mightier than any strength of the human will. It will not just conquer you, but tear you apart piece by piece, until there is nothing left but the ruined, tattered remains of your soul. An empty vessel of skin, blood and bones will be all that lingers; a harrowing flag to all those who are losing the battle with their fear.
Fear is nothing but a state of mind, and it would not be tolerated."Pure-bloods fear nothing." She repeated that to herself over and over again, determined not to falter under his wrath.
