Severus was much more hands on than normal; A hand on a shoulder here, groping a thigh there. Hip to hip, toe to toe, he mimicked her every move. Her shadow so to speak. An obvious statement to Lucius of course. Not that Cassi minded. He had a lot of sucking up to do.

Starting with the mission.

"Lucius, so help me if any harm comes to her you'll have more than the Dark Lord to worry about. I'll make your death slow. Painful. I'll draw it out so long your great, great grandchildren will hear your screams. Do we have an accord?" Severus' baritone gruff was all to severe in it's seriousness.

"Well. Since you put it so nicely." Lucius struck out his hand and Snape took it in his own. With one pumping fist he shook.

"Look at my boy's getting along." Cassi soothed.

"Cassiopeia. You. Are. Pushing. It." Severus gritted through closed teeth.

She pecked him on the cheek.
"I'll be fine my love."

He put a shaky hand to her belly bump.
"You better. Now stay alive or I'll kill you."

"I love it when you talk dirty to me." She took his hand that cupped her swollen stomach and kissed his knuckles, bidding him an a due.

It was back to the Castle for the Dungeon dwelling bat. Back to being the old batty head master's lap dog feeding
Professor.

As for Lucius and herself, they had bigger and better things to tend to.

But first....

She descended the stairs, coming to rest at the front counter.

"Hands off dee glahss!" Grandfather Burke, always protective of his personal space.

Cassi moved her hands, throwing them up in the air like she was that 11 year old girl being scolded again for leaving smudges.

"You'll have a heart attack you keep all that yelling and fretting up. Besides....."

She pulled out her wand and waved it over the counter top. It was as shiny as the day he invested in it.

"Was that so hard?"

He observed her handy work but didn't give her the satisfaction of thanks. Just the old stink eye he was so well known for; squinting his face as if he smelled the odor of rotting onions, one eye half closed the other bulging in all it's white creepiness.

"Ahh... Mr. Malfoy, Sir. Always da pleasure."

Lucius bowed ever so slightly.
Cassi nearly had to drag her Grandfather away from the Blonde. Eager to make a knut, but he was barking up the wrong tree.

"Think you can pay attention for 10 bloody seconds? I'm kind of in a hurry here." Cassi snapped her fingers but he still stared up at Lucius as if he were a God.

Lucius felt uncomfortable under that eldritch glare of his- clearing his throat and throwing him a sideways glance, looking at him like the ant he was to him.

Ant, boot....
You get the point. Once an above average aristocratic Malfoy, always an above average aristocratic Malfoy. Burke was beneath him.

"Earth to Caractacus, I want to make a purchase."

Cassi's words did the trick. In fact, she wasn't quite sure how he had managed to get behind the counter as quickly as he had.

She put in her delivery order for the statue she'd been so entranced by, giving him exact instructions on wrapping it up. Last delivery had arrived in shambles and although they were related the non-refundable policy still remained. She gave him an extra galleon for good measure and another to ensure it arrived in one piece. He pocketed the profit and saw them out the back door.
