Madely's POV
Saige and I walk to homeroom together, discussing last night.
"I have a question," Saiges says, so I nod. "Why'd you ask me about competing last night?"
"Well I found my old shorts and thought about how much I miss everyone and actually competing. I just miss cheering." I say looking down at my feet as the elevator door opens.
"I miss dance too. I've probably lost my over spilt because I haven't stretched in ages. Unless you count shaving my legs." she laughs.
"What?" I ask laughing. What in the world is she talking about? She laughs before answering.
"When I shave, I put my leg up on the wall like a heel stretch." she laughs as we get to the open door.
"Same!" I say laughing as we enter, parting ways to go sit down. I walk to my desk, which Harry happens to be sitting in.
"Get out of my seat." I smile.
"Or you could sit on my lap?" He says with a wink. I shake my head before he gets up, letting me sit down.
"Will you ditch with me next period, I have a test and-"
"Sure." I say. I need to start letting go and doing things. The truth is I really don't want to go with him, but I am. I'm trying to get out of this shy shell like Lexie says.
"What?" he says surprised.
"Sure, I'll go with you." I repeat, this time with a smile.
"Who are you and what have you done with Madely?" he asks sarcastically with a laugh. I laugh as Mrs.Collins walks in to start class
After class I follow Harry throughout the hallways. "We have to hurry, no one will see us if we get outside before class change ends."
I nod, holding on to his backpack as we walk down the staircase. I don't want people to get between us because I still don't know my way around the school yet. We get outside, and it is very cold.
"It's so cold!" I say to Harry. He puts his arm around me to keep me warm. We get to his blue car, and he unlocks the doors so it'll be warmer than outside. His car is surprisingly really clean, which makes me wonder if he's clean at home too.
I shut the door and laugh.
"What's so funny?" he asks, shutting his door.
"I'm ditching class." I say, surprised to hear it come out of my mouth. He laughs at me as well. After we stop laughing, it's silent.
"So?" Harry says breakig the silence.
"So." I repeat not knowing what to say.
"Want to play 21 questions?" Harry grins.
"Well, I guess." I shrug, I used to play this game with boys I had crushes on in middle school, while we texted.
"Ok, When was your first kiss?" He asked.
"Uh, I think when I was 12." I say trying to sound like I don't remember. I remember perfectly. I was 12, and the boy and I planned to kiss at our friend's birthday at McDonald's. We got inside the little tube alone and kissed quickly. Like a peck. Then we broke up.
"Wow, your turn."
"Ok...how many siblings do you have?" I ask, looking up at him.
"Depends, does it count if they're your pure enemy?"
"I guess?" I furrow my brows.
"Then one."
"Moving on," I say wondering what his problem is with his sibling. Or if it's his sister or brother.
