Madely's POV:
I walk down the halls to my homeroom. It's surprising I haven't ran into Harry yet. Usually I would end up having to walk with him and talk about weird things, he'd flirt, I'd reject, but now..it's different.
Now I am happy to walk with him. I'm happy to have him right beside me, his arm around me, us holding hands. It seems perfect.
I walk into class to see Harry talking with his friends except it wasn't a normal conversation. It was too serious. Harry was frustrated and upset.
I began to walk over to him.
"Hey" I smile at him
His crowd of friends silenced looking over at me.
"Hey" he nervously replied "Um, can we talk outside for a moment please" he said scratching the back of his head.
"Sure" I slowly responded looking at him confused.
I turned around. His hand was on my back to lead me out. His friends all stayed quiet, you could hear a pen drop.
He shut the classroom door considering class is starting.
"What is it?" I asked.
He shook his head taking in a deep breath before he spoke. "Madely, I..I just need to say that...that people are starting to talk" he said seriously
"Talk?" I asked "Talk about what?"
He rushed his fingers through his hair looking down at the ground and back at me.
"Talk about us, and Louis and Saige" he said.
"Still not making any sense"
"Damnit Madely, starting rumors" he said quickly and fiercely
"And the rumors are?"
He huffed again. I can tell this is irritating him, he is very frustrated.
"Just don't listen to them, okay."
I looked at him still confused. I don't understand a word he is saying.
"Just promise me you won't believe them" he practically yelled at me, loosing his patience.
"I promise" I replied sternly
He nodding. His jaws clenched as he pulled me in for an embrace.
"I love you" he whispered in my ear.
The words sent chills through my body. I hugged him tighly. I closed my eyes "I love you too" I finally replied
He hugged me tighter before letting go. Our hug split.
"Don't forget that. No matter what anybody says, I love you" he said looking me in the eyes, seeming to melt my whole inside. "Do you truly love me?" he asked
I looked him in the eye, my expression serious "Yes. I truly love you" I said
He smirked leaning in for a gentle kiss. He placed a soft, beautiful kiss to my lips as I kissed him back. Sadly the kiss didn't last long as we pulled away.
"What do we do now?" I asked
"I guess hang out until the next class" he shrugged
I agreed. We walked down the hall to the end to sit down. We had small talk nothing serious. It was a relaxing moment we both needed after what had recently happened. Although I don't fully understand it, I know it is something that is bugging Harry.
"There's this party next week at my friends. You wanna come with me, I done promised him I'd go" Harry said
"Sure" I shrugged.
