"Pete..." You groaned of boredom. You let yourself fall down on the couch and sighed loudly. "What is it, Y/n?" Pete chuckled. "I'm so booorreeeddd" You groaned again before playing with your fingers.

"You wanna go outside?" He asked, throwing his arm around your shoulder. "Yea!" You yelled before asking where to.

"I don't know. Maybe the park? We could also eat ice cream there." He suggested. You nodded.

"Ok. Wait let me get dressed real quick." You said before running up the stairs. You walked over to your closet and picked out black skinny jeans and a baby-blue hoodie.

You jogged down the stairs with loud thumps that caused Pete to look your way. "Ready to go?" He asked. "Yup." You answered while putting on your shoes.

You got to your car and practically jumped into the passengers seat. "What's up with you today?" Pete laughed. "Too much coffee, I guess." You shrugged.

Pete giggled and started the car. Immediately you turned the radio on and were screaming Blink-182 lyrics along with Pete.

After a while you arrived at the park. It was a pretty chill day:
Not too many kids,
A older couple sitting on a bench,
A woman with her dog.

You got out of the car and shutted the door. "Wanna get ice cream?" Pete offered. You nodded and dragged him towards the old man who was selling ice cream every weekend.

"Hello, what can I get the lovely couple?" He asked you politely. You smiled before answering "I'd like a strawberry ice cream, please."

"And I'd like chocolate" Pete smiled. The old man nodded before coming back with your ice cream. He handed it to you and Pete payed him.

"Thanks, Pete" You pecked his cheek.

"Y/n, the kids are gone. Wanna go to the swings?" He smirked. "Aren't we a little too old for that?" You argued. "I don't think so."

Before you could say anything else, Pete gripped your wrist and pulled you towards the swings. You sat down giggling and Pete got behind you.

He started to push you from your lower back and you laughed from enjoyment and happiness.

"Ok, ok, you have to get onto the other swing yourself, or else it will be embarassing for me." You looked around. The old couple was starring at you and Pete and smiled sweetly. You smiled back and Pete got onto the swing next to you.

Before you realized, the sun set down and it got dark.

"Was that enough for today?" Pete took your hand in his as you walked to the car.

"Mhm." You hummed while skipping.
