Umbrella ~ D.W.

You were sitting under a tree, enjoying seeing the rain pouring down. You liked days like these, rainy days. For some reason rain always calmed you down. People would walk past you, some even handed you money, because they thought you were homeless.

You closed your eyes and leaned your hand back, resting it at the tree behind you. You listened to the rain crashing onto the grass and on the asphalt. But then you heard footsteps aprroaching you. You shrugged it off, thinking it would be just some people passing by.

But you were wrong.

You felt someone sitting next to you. You slowly opened your eyes, after you couldn't feel the rain pouring down on you. You turned your head to see a handsome guy smiling weakly at you, holding his umbrella above your head.

'You kinda looked lonely. And you're gonna freeze to death if you stay out here like that' The man said. 'I'm Dallon' he held out his hand for you. 'Y/n..' you hesistated. 'Nice to meet you Y/n. Can I ask a question?'

'You already did.' You chuckled. Dallon giggled slightly while pulling you up. 'I'm just going to ask you anyway. What are doing here alone? In the middle of the night.'

What were you doing here? You didn't know the answer.

'I honestly dont know.' you chuckled, 'I just like being here, I guess' you trailed off. Dallon hummed in response. You started walking with him.

Why were you walking with him? You didn't know him. The only thing you knew about him was his name and the fact that he seemed  nice. And for some reason, you didn't turn around and ran off. You just walked with him.

'Are you cold? Here, I'll give you my jacket.' He took off his jacket and placed it on your shoulder, smiling weakly. You mumbled a thanks. 'We should warm you up, I know a good coffee shop, would you like to go there?' he asked. 'Sure' You smiled.

'Mind if I call you umbrella?' he asked goofly. You chuckled lightly and shook you head.
