Tucking my hands under my armpits, I shivered. Ethan glanced at me, frowning.
"Here," he pulled off his orange jacket, handing it to me.
I smiled gratefully but shook my head. "It's fine. Maybe I'll find something in one of these shops."
Ethan placed his jacket around my shoulders, giving me a serious look. "Just wear it. My shirt will keep me warm, yours won't."
I pulled my arms into the jacket, the oversized sleeves hanging off my arms. "Thanks, Ethan."
A snowflake fell in front of my face. I gasped, watching it fall onto the concrete. I looked up, noticing the dark clouds overhead. A few more snowflakes fell and I smiled.
"I haven't seen snow in ages." Ethan let out.
I nodded, sticking my tongue out like a child. Ethan laughed and followed my actions. After a few minutes, the snow picked up and the two of us continued our walk.
We came across a group of six walkers. I looked to Ethan, who was looking back at me. I pulled my knife out and made my way towards them.
"Whoever kills more wins!" I hollared, pushing the zombie closest to me back, stabbing it through the head. "That's one for me!"
I heard multiple gun shots, each corpse falling to the ground. "That's five for me!"
I made an angry face and turned around. "That's not fair! You used a gun!"
"You never said I couldn't." He shrugged with a laugh.
I rolled my eyes and continued walking. Ethan ran behind me, the thin layer of snow crunching beneath his feet. A few more minutes passed before Ethan spoke up.
"So, Tyler said he saw you talking to Marzia. Is that true?"
"Yeah." I nodded and clicked my tongue against the roof of my mouth. "Why do you seem so surprised?"
Ethan made his mouth go crooked. "I don't know. It just seemed like you didn't like her."
"No, no. She's fine." I told Ethan with a smile.
My gut kept telling me not to trust Marzia. And no matter how nice she was, and how long she stayed, I would not.
I snuck a peak at Ethan, seeing him with a thoughtful expression. "What's up with the face?" I asked, raising my eyebrows.
Ethan hesitated, but eventually answered. "Its just....I think she was flirting with me?"
I furrowed my eyebrows angrily then relaxed, remembering what I told Marzia. "She may have been...but I told her you were mine."
Ethan stopped walking, surprise on his face. "I'm....yours?"
I halted and stared at Ethan for a long period of time. "I didn't mean it like that. I meant th-"
Ethan lightly placed his lips on mine. I rolled my eyes and gave in, kissing him back. We disconnected and I stared directly into Ethan's loving green eyes.
"Maybe I want to be yours." Ethan said with a dorky smile.

Ethan and I arrived back at Rotunda, Gerald greeting us at the door. "Any biters?"
"There were six," Ethan replied and held up his gun. "But we handled them."
Ethan dropped his gun onto the counter and a girl, who I'm pretty sure was named Rosanna, grabbed it. She walked down the hall, bringing it to the room where all the weapons were held. I brought my hands behind my back, covering my knife.
"That's good." Gerald said. "Dinners almost ready by the way."
