Chapter One - Four Years Later
A lot can change in a year's time, let alone four. It had been exactly four years since her family's decision to leave behind Kattegat and leave behind her father and his new family. In those four years the Gods had truly blessed them since almost as soon as they arrived in Hedeby they had no troubles at all on the home front, things were simple and peaceful. Against all odds Lagertha found a deep love with the Earl of Hedeby named Kalf. Earl Kalf was a good man he was honest and kind and just but he was also fierce and determined and a warrior to the end.
The man although slightly younger then Lagertha in age was very mature and intelligent and took to the Lothbrok family instantly. He loved Lagertha with every fiber in his being and Bjorn and Daga he adored and dotted on like his own flesh and blood, he showed Bjorn and Daga what it was supposed to mean to have a father during their difficult years. Kalf a great and skilled warrior taught both Daga and Bjorn everything he knew and in return then some. Kalf saw the potential of a warrior of extreme skill in Daga and so had her trained by himself and two of his teachers who together taught her an entirely different skill set of fighting that she blended with her own to make something unique, effortless, and entirely her. She in turn trained her brother extensively not just in the ways of combat but with knowledge and she was proud to say her brother had inherited the exact same love of knowledge as she had. Bjorn and Daga had also gotten their wish of a new sibling it would seem that all though the Seer predicted Lagertha would bare no more of Ragnar's children she would still bare a set of twins with the Earl Kalf. A pair of boys named Hayger and Foden who were just now two years old.
The Gods blessed her greatly in the coming years even more so as she traveled and raided making her own name for herself and beginning the stages of building something that would eventually outshine all others. Daga had found a loyal companion and dear friend in a large Viking warrior named Jagda a young man by the age of seventeen who was extremely skilled in combat and held an intelligent mind with a kind soul. He was a good man one who quickly flocked to Daga like a moth to a flame, he was another little brother who also happened to end up becoming Bjorn's best friend making him an even deeper part of the family. Daga in her four years time had already built a fortune but she knew what she was to build was an empire one she looked forward to seeing come to life instead of only in her visions. In the four years Daga had gotten complete control over her visions now being able to call them on command and be able to tap into the future's path with out having to go into a trance like state or have her eyes cloud over.
Daga's son now four years old was a handsome little blonde babe who as he got older became practically the spitting image of his grandpa. True to his name he was a little wolf through and through wanting to spend almost all of his time in nature in the woods and running through the forest's paths and trails getting covered from head to toe in dirt and grime blood and bruises but like a true little warrior he shook off the pain and fought through the mistakes like running away from his mama's sight to go into the woods alone and getting his butt whooped afterwards. Bjorn and Ubbe had become extremely close as were Ubbe and Kalf, the older he got the more it became abundantly clear he inherited his extreme intelligence and cunning from his mother. Little Ubbe understood his family dynamics as having two grandpas, Grandpa Kalf and Grandpa Ragnar. He didn't ask questions to things he didn't care about he just knew that he genuinely loved and adored both men and talked rapidly about both the older he got.
Daga had cut her hair to mid back while keeping the side of her head shaved off
