~"Come with me to a place across the ocean, the skies warm and the wine tasteful, the soils of the land fertilized with the blood of fallen enemies."~

Calmly walking the all familiar path towards the seaside home she knew all too well Daga took deep breaths of the fresh early morning air, finally coming upon the single house upon the beach she smiled softly at the sight of her boat builder working on a beautiful new Long Boat and mumbling to himself as he always does when deep in thought.

"It's beautiful." Daga called causing him to stop before turning to face her.

Floki had gotten older that much was clear from the crinkles at the corners of his eyes and the frown lines etched into the corners of his mouth but regardless he was still well built from years of hard work and his ever fighting spirit. His head was shaved entirely except for a pony tail at the base of his skull and he had grown his beard out to touch the center of his chest, his head was covered in ruins and she smiled at the tribal fireball covering his left shoulder cap. She was his flame after all.

"What do I owe this honor to my Queen? Might it be the sudden appearance of your father or the fact you slaughtered four of your mother's warriors last night after you nearly threw her through the wall?" Floki asked with a giggle tossing his arms out to the sides making Daga smirk and shake her head as she came closer to stand nearer towards him.

"I am losing it Floki." Daga calmly explained causing Floki to purse his lips before smacking them and stepping off the side of his ladder landing firmly upon his feet beside her.

Floki looked her over from head to toe before replying "What exactly are you losing my Goddess?"
Daga let her guard fall letting her face show how utterly tired she was "My mind, my grip, my soul."
Floki smiled suddenly at her his grin manic and his eyes twinkling in insanity "Then you are almost ready my most precious gift."
He opened his arms and wrapped them tightly around her person as she walked into them burying her face directly into his chest as he laid the side of his head on top of hers "Its almost time.."

Daga huffed before looking up at Floki her eyes glowing bright crimson "I know... Are you ready?"
Her oldest friend smiled lovingly this time at her "For you? Always."

Bjorn followed her familiar tracks down towards their Uncle Floki's house when he finally saw Floki working on his new boat the carpenter didn't even look up as he pointed off to the side trail which Bjorn quickly took coming upon the dark murky water pool that was slightly within the woods just before the beach its self, Bjorn saw her trousers and tunic and boots laying carelessly about letting him know she was within the waters depth.

Sitting down he quietly waited for what felt like hours but was about thirty minutes when she emerged from the depths with a gasp and her face flushed red, her hair a much darker red due to its wet appearance and her eyes were once more a calm and intelligent Odin blue.

"Well, you found me." Daga joked bending her head down to rest on the edge of the damp soil not caring about the wet ground sticking to her cheek or the small leaves or twigs that lodge themselves in the side of her hair.

"Are you alright?" Bjorn asked worried causing Daga to look up at him "I'll be fine brother worry not, why don't you talk to me about what has your mind so cluttered."
Bjorn hesitated making Daga laugh "Bjorn I am not Anna I can not read minds but I can see the way of things and that which is a person's intent."

Bjorn thought it over for a moment "When we attacked Paris I found something...."

"Oh? What did you find?"

Bjorn gently took the fabric from his inside coat pocket and unfolded it before turning it to face Daga who looked intently and excitedly at what in turn was a part of a map. The Mediterranean. A place amongst Daga's favorites.
