The atmosphere was different the following morning. Halfdan watched his unusually quite brother go about getting dressed with a blank face his eyes not really seeing with his mind miles upon miles away, the younger brother scowled deeply as he tried to figure out what could possibly have his King and older sibling in such a strange mood. "Did you and the Princess get into an argument or something?"

Harald turned around with furrowed brows his lips pursed thinly "What?"

Halfdan scuffed before standing from his seat "She's the only one I could imagine to have you so lop sided brother. Talk to me, what troubles you so?"

Harald lowered his gaze his mind racing. Did he tell his brother? His right hand? Did he tell such a secret that was not his own even if it was to someone he personally knew would rather die then expose such a thing to an enemy? Did he tell his beloved brother that the woman whose gotten under his skin and started worming her way into his heart was a decedent of the Allfather? Harald knew the answer.

"I received a vision last night in my sleep. The Gods told me a few things that now have changed, everything." Harald began to explain drawing Halfdan to attention his sights firmly on his brother eagerly awaiting his next words "The Princess of Kattegat is something much more. She is the great-great-great granddaughter of Odin and she's destined to claim the throne and rule all of Midgard."

Halfdan's wild eyes grew wide and his grin crazy causing Harald to chuckle "She and I are soulmates by gift of the Goddess Freyja. She will help us claim Norway and she will bare my daughter. It seems the Gods really do have plans for us."

Halfdan nodded his face having returned to normal except for a silly little grin "So? What do we do?"

Harald turned serious looking upon his brother who too grew serious at his brother's expression "We follow the Princess' lead. Keep an eye out for her as you would me."

Halfdan nodded vigorously "Of course brother." Harald clapped him upon the back before exiting his chambers leaving behind a truly speechless brother who stared dazedly into nothing.

Daga sat upon the small hill side and watched the children run about and play with a small genuine smile upon her face as she watched Ubbe run about chasing Hvitserk and Sigurd along with the other boys and girls from town playing here and there doing this and that with childish delight and loud shrieks of laughter.

Daga glanced down at her lap where her youngest child and youngest brother slept soundly. She held them closely to her person relishing in the feel of their weight safely in her strong and capable arms where she knew she could protect them if something was to happen. The young Princess felt much older then she was as she felt her self flicker her eyes over the surroundings once more taking in details she may have forgotten, taking note of where all of her kids were and calculating how quickly she could get to them. She trusted very little when it came to her kids and was always on guard.

"May I sit with you?" A male's voice asked from her left. Daga knew the scent well. Lavender tinted soap, natural scent of light musk, and sea water. King Harald Finehair.

Daga grinned softly without looking over "Of course."

Harald took her left sitting down softly upon the side of the hill easily enough. His gaze drawn to the small girl with wild curly black hair as she slept peacefully and heavily within her mother's arms.

"She's absolutely beautiful." Harald spoke his tone honest and soft as he gazed lovingly at the small girl whose nose he noted twitched slightly reminding him of a small rabbit.

Daga watched him intently before allowing herself to relax slowly and let the strange warmness wash over her being. "Yes, yes she is."  Harald glanced up and felt himself swallow heavily as their eyes met. Daga's eyes were a startling deep liquid gold that fluttered and swirled as the sunlight reflected in their other worldly depths, Harald had no words to describe the beauty he saw in her eyes.
