You were lying on the couch, your head on his lap as you two watched television. You looked up to Jellal frowning. Nudging his stomach, you asked why he was frowning.
"I was just thinking." He vaguely replied.
"About what?"
"Just that I don't deserve this baby."
"How come?" You frowned. You thought that surely he'd deserve the baby.
"I'm a criminal. I'm not a good person. I don't even deserve you. But a baby?" He placed a caring hand on your large stomach. "I'd be a horrible influence to them."
You smiled and placed a hand on his cheek, stroking it.
"I think you'd make a great father. The fact that you left that all in the past and you've stopped shows that you're getting better. And your experiences will only help with the baby if they ever go down the path that you did. Your experiences will help the baby, I'm sure of it."

You woke up to your baby boy crying. You walked to his room and picked him up, rocking him in your arms. You start to sing a song that always calmed him down.

Kissing his forehead, you placed the sleeping baby in his crib, afterwards turning to see Jellal smiling.
Walking up to him, you kissed his cheek and walked back to your room, snuggling into your blankets. A minute later, he comes in and wraps his arms around you, kissing the back of your head.
