Your head jolted up, startled that your door was opened then shut very harshly. You saw your red-headed boyfriend throw his bag on the floor, and flop onto your bed.
You sighed, and put your pencil down, pushing the chair away from the desk. You made your way to Archie and sat next to him.
You pushed his hair out of his face. "What's up, babe?" You asked.
He sighed. "It's so hard to balance everything in my life right now. Between school, football and working with my dad, it's all too much." He sat up and pushed a stray hair from your head behind your ear. "I barely have time for you too."
You lifted your hand and held his, pushing it closer to your face. "I know it sucks, but it's what's best for now."
You hated saying that, because in reality, you hated the fact that you couldn't see Archie as often as you wish. Archie moved so he was directly in front of you. He placed his other hand on the other side of your face.
"It's not okay. I want to see you more, I hate not being able to see you."
