Chapter 23

I get dressed and do my makeup. Dan starts doing his hair while I lay on the bed. I get out my phone then hit record.

"Dan?"

"Yeah?"

"Did you fuck a mermaid?"

"What the actual fuck Samantha?"

"I don't know you seem like the kind of guy."

"You know I would be down to try."

"Right now?"

"Sure why not. I mean i'm single so."

"Dan i'm recording." 

"OH FUCK NO DELETE IT!" Dan yells. I turn the video off.

"It's going on YouTube," I say. "Right now."

"God Sam."

"It's also going on Instagram with my million followers. Oh look it's on YouTube."

"I'm done." Dan says.

"Lets go then." I say.

"WE'RE GOING OUT!" Dan yells then shuts the door behind him. I start skipping on the street while Dan just watches.

"Your no fun." I say.

"I know." Dan says. "I'm just to fat to skip."

"Your too fat for anything." I say. I slow down for him. "So where are we going?"

"Somewhere I wanted to take you before we broke up." Dan says. 

About 10 minutes of walking Dan says that we're close. I look around and see a few office buildings and a building with people walking in and out. The skating rink. I look at Dan and he smiles.

"How do you know I can skate?" I ask.

"I didn't know I just wanted to come here." Dan says. I start speeding up. "Hold on."

"Hurry up Dan." I say. 

We get inside and get skates. I put mine on. I have to help Dan get his on and to stand up. I hold onto his hand to keep him up.

"Okay we're going over here." I say.

"I'm just going to fall." Dan says.

"Let me get warmed up. Stand right here and hold onto the wall." I say. He nods then watches me. I start off slow then start speeding around the rink, passing people. I reach Dan in about 30 seconds.

"Holy fuck how." Dan says. I laugh. He takes my hand then gets onto the rink. "It's slippery."

"Yeah." I say. "Look just push yourself forward slighly."

"Stay with me." He says. I laugh and watch him. He squeezes my hand tighter when he thinks hes going to fall.

"Look Dan we need to start moving." I say. "Watch my feet Dan." He starts moving slightly then starts wobbling.

"Sam Sam Sam." Dan says.

"I'm right here." I hold out my hand for him. "Look we're going to speed up." We start going a little faster. "Let go of my hand and do the foot movements I showed you."

"This is hard." Dan says.

"You just have to learn." I say. I let go of his hand then he goes slower. I go infront of him then start skating backwards. 

He soon gets the hang of it and we start going around the rink.

After we're done skating we return the shoes then walk outside.
