on duty and famine

i lack not necessity
but necessity lacks i

and e'er were it switched
i could not know or say

but as it stands now
act i must

to do with what i have
to give more than i can.

dull does it ring to
ears who do not open

though these eyes can never shut
as they do not have the strength to open once more

so shout with mighty lungs
and push with mighty hands

to do more than those who say it is impossible.

we were built on impossible
though we have been led to believe just the opposite

and we must share our impossible
With those who struggle to reach it.

EDIT: Turkish Airlines is sending a cargo plane from Istanbul to Somalia on March 27. To help fill it with nutritious food for those in need, please donate to the gofundme page in my bio. Anything helps, but if you can't, please spread the word! People are quite literally dying because they lack the basic necessities of life. We can make a difference on these people's lives and, quite literally, save them.
