something about the sea that bends
and breaks
a fluidity that reels in
and swallows
a sharpness that fuels in
and wallows
but it always slips through my fingersthere's something concrete about the crashing
something obscure and intangible
but concrete all the same
like your favorite line of your favorite book
that hit you in a way that made you feel afraid
but compelled you to dog-ear the page
and return to it anywayi tell people I write but that's a lie
i don't write, I feel and I force others to read my mind
and that's alright
because what else would I do?
what else is there besides the waves that crash?nothing, at least not in this moment
not to you, dear reader
because I'm thinking about the waves
and now you are too
and together we're superheroes
engaging in our telepathy and delighting in each other's company-ch
