Chapter 14: What Happened?

I wake up in a white room just like the one at the Facility, "was that all a dream?" I ask myself, and as I get up, my head starts pounding as if someone just started beating me on the head, "ah.." I say out loud, I look around to see if anyone is there, "guess I'm by me self this time" I say sarcastically, and I see down at my right, a glass of milk, "is this for me?" I say, then without hesitation I heap the glass and start drinking the milk, satisfying my thirst, "don't drink to much, or your head won't be the only thing hurting," a Miltank says as she walks into the room, then I immediately realize, "the milk is from her!", I quickly but casually put the glass down as she walks up to see how I'm doing, "your head stop hurting?" She says sweetly, putting her hand on my head to feel my temperature, probably because I'm probably as red as Scizor, "yeah I'm good..." I say trying to calm myself, "it's probably because of the milk isn't it? Why does that always happen?" She says putting her finger on her chin, "because.. maybe sudden realization of.. where.. the milk... came from..." I say looking the other direction so she doesn't see my face.  "Oh no wonder!" She says with a giggle, "well when you feel fine you can put on your clothes and hang the robe over there" she says leaving the room, "what!?" I shout to myself, feeling my cheeks light up, "great as if my face wasn't red enough already..." I sigh as I get up and change.

10 minutes later....

   "Alright lets see how long I've been out" I say as I throw my scarf over my shoulder, speaking of which, I got new clothes that I'm actually comfortable in and give me protection!  As I walk out the door I see Clad and Vengeance sitting on chairs around a coffee table eating donuts, "really, I was knocked out and you guys are eating donuts?" I say mockingly as I take a seat next to them, "hey you've been out an hour, what do you expect us to do?" Vengeance says as he take another donut, "well for one, probably get me a coffee for when I woke up, and two, stop hogging all the donuts!" I say as I drag the remaining donuts toward me and start eating one.  Ahh that hit the spot! Now that I guess I'm proven innocent? I don't know how it works, but hey, at least I can enjoy myself right?  "Hey Max!" Violet shouts as she runs toward me, "hey what's up?" I ask as she clips a device onto my shoe, "your head" she says as she fastens it and stands up, "I'm serious.." I say bending down examining the device, "well since no one knows is you past or not, so, they just said put a tracker on you so if you go missing it won't take weeks to find you," she replies, "great and just when I was getting used to freedom as well.." I continue as I try to catch up with Clad and Vengeance, but Violet gets a hold on my arm, "hey, I never thanked you for helping me get out of that hell hole, so...... thx..." she says as she blushes, then I feel my face start turning pink so I just reply, "oh, no problem!" I say as I scratch the back of my head.  "Well sorry, didn't wanna keep you waiting from your first day of training!" Violet says acting cheery as if nothing happened, "oh yeah! Well I guess I'll see you later!" I shout behind me as I take off doing a Naturo Run as some would say, catching up with Clad and Vengeance in no time, "hey what was that?" Clad asked looking back at Violet as she turns the corner, "oh nothing much, just explained what this doohickey was and, yeah, pretty much it" I reply putting both my hands behind my back as though I was the gonna lay down, "well training starts in 5 so better hurry!" Vengeance says taking off with Clad flying behind him, literally, flying, "get back here!" I say with a chuckle.
