Chapter 25: Saving Red part 1

   "Alright, now that we got some info for a week, let's plan where to start." I say, taking a seat around a table, "I think this 'sphyco' will be where we should start, cause we got quite a few people talking 'bout her." Parker says while tweaking his armor, "good point, any leads where she might be?" I ask, looking at all the notes we gathered, "you could start at that creepy mansion on Dugtrio Lane" Clad says as he walks in, and Vengeance close behind, "took you long enough!" I say getting up and walk toward Serenica, "this is Serenica, and that's Pearl" I say introducing two new people who joined our group.
   After our little reunion, we head out toward Dugtrio Lane picking up some Full Restores at a nearby poke-shop, "so let me get this straight, you murdered some guy's father, and he got ticked, now the person who you tried to get out of a cage is your enemy?" Vengeance says in an amused tone, "hey he had it coming!" I snap back, soon after we walk in silence, then find the mansion, "alright, let's go find Red!" I say cautiously sprinting to the door, unlocking it by using Nightslash creating a blade and slicing the side of the door. After 5 minutes making sure there aren't any traps, we head to the bedroom everyone keeps talking about, where they hear blood curdling cries and see strange lights, then as we approach the room, we hear singing in the next room, so I use ShadowSneak and go under the door to quietly unlock it from the other side, I risk a glance and see the psycho washing something in the tub, but I hurry and open the door as quietly as possible and the others tip toe in, "I knew you were coming" the psycho says sounding happy, "Where is Red!?" I ask ditching the sneak approach, "I'll tell you after we have a little fun!" She says as she turns around, then I see she's a Gardevior!

Then she takes out whatever she was washing and throws it on the floor, and it looks like is 'was' a head of another Cacturn, "Fudge! No wonder your a psycho!" Vengeance says as he charges at her using ShadowClaw, but the Gardevior jumps out of the way and uses FutureSight then uses Psychic on Vengeance, "gah!" Vengeance cries out grabbing his head, then Parker runs at her using FuryCutter landing a hit, "hahaha that tickled!" She says with wild eyes, then she uses ThunderBolt hitting me, "Darn your electric type attacks!" I cry out, but charge at her using NightSlash, hitting her, but just as Clad charges in with a ShadowPunch, FutureSight activates heading straight for him, and while Parker is busy using KingShield to protect him from the psychos Psychic, I run to Clad pushing him out of the way bracing for impact, but as FutureSight hits me, it evaporates centimeters from my body, "so that's how moves have no effect on certain types!" I say aloud, just then Serenica uses Reflect lowering the damage we take, "thanks!" Clad says, punching the Psycho in the gut with Shadow Punch, which knocks her down.
Then she wakes up after we tie her up in what looked like a torture chair, which had a lot, and I mean A LOT of blood, "ok out with it! Where are they hiding Red!?" Parker shouts at the Psycho, "Lance told me you'd try to find him.. what would I get in return?" She asks us, "you don't get handed over to the authorities.." Vengeance says in a serious, non-emotional tone, "fair enough.. he's located in the middle of Chrome City, three levels below.." she replies, "but?" I ask, knowing it's not that easy, "our leader has 5 waves of grunts ready to stop whoever attacks, and the 6th wave includes Lance, and that is all, no let me go and leave me be!!" She shouts, while desperately trying to shake out of the chair, "ok bye!!" Serenica says walking out the door with the rest of us, "where are you going?! You said you'd let me go!!" The psycho shouts panicked, "no, we said we wouldn't give you to the police, nothing about a chair though" Vengeance says with a smirk on his face, "you little mother f-!" We slam the door before she even said a word.

  In Chrome City..

"Everyone remember the plan?" I ask, "Roger!" Everyone replies in unison, "question, who made you the leader, just never thought of it till now?" Clad asks, then all attention is on me, "because I've been through more than you, I have a general idea of who we are up against, and no one volunteered, so that's that, let's go!" I reply, and we all head towards the headquarters where they are keeping Red, soon after we see the first wave of grunts, which look to be water types, "Step back, I got this.." Serenica says stepping forward and raising her hands in front of her, then uses Leaf Storm hitting multiple enemies, cutting them with razor sharp glowing leaves, and they all drop do to loss of strength and energy, "first wave down, 5 to go.." I say as we push on.

4 waves later...

"Alright time to fight Lance, prepare yourselves" I say as we all take a Full Restore and get back to full energy, then out of nowhere, an Ice Shard flies straight at me face, and I dodge but get nicked on my cheek, "gah!" I shout alarmed, pressing my hand toward my cheek, "I should have killed you when I had the chance!!" Gena says with rage, the uses Ominous Wind on Parker but he counters with Kings Shield, but then I realize she just boosted every stat and has become stronger, then more grunts approach and we get ready for battle, then Lance flies in with Brave Bird, "I got him!" Vengeance says then Mega Evolves!! Lance does the same and they start clashing, I quickly turn my attention back to Gena, "I killed Brutus, and now I'll kill you for taking Red!!" I say charging Gena at full speed, I start chucking Water Shurikens at her but she counters with Ice Shard, creating puffs of dust until we cant see each other, then I get hit by a ThunderBolt, and I fall down dazed, ok this is getting old, right when I start gaining my footing I get hit in the shoulder by an Ice Shard and fall back down, right after I get hit again in the leg, "this is the pain you get for breaking my heart, you bastard!" Gena says standing over me, then she picks me up and throws me at the wall, then throws yet another Ice Shard at me other hand pining me to the wall, "and now you'll pay, she puts lips on mine and uses Draining Kiss, all the energy rushes from me and an astonishing amount of pain swell in my chest as I gasp, each breath bringing more pain, then she makes and ice blade, and stabs me in the gut, and there is so much pain tears stream down my face, "now you'll die in pain!" Gena says ready to shoot an Ice Shard into my head, so I close my eyes waiting to meet death...
