Chapter 22: Becoming A Killer

  I wake up, feeling an arm on my side, I move it off and I hear a groan, my eyes shoot open, getting up quietly to realize, what the heck am I doing sharing a blanket with Melody!? So I just get out of bed quietly, making sure not to wake anyone, "where are you going?..." Melody says, "shhh!" I quickly say, covering her mouth making sure she doesn't wake Parker, then she take my hand and rubs her cheek on it, I jerk my hand away, "what the heck are you doing?" I ask holding my hand as if it was bitten, "why, what's wrong?" Melody giggles trying to grab my hand playfully, gee what a creep, why did I ask her to come again? Oh yeah to help if Red was injured, even though I think it would have been better just me going...  "it's creepy, who do you like me or Parker? You seemed to want him more than me yesterday" I whisper sitting back on the bed, "I don't know, it's a hard choice, plus I only seen Parker's personality yesterday and I thought it was cute, but before we went to bed, the way you took charge was pretty attractive.." Melody says turning pink, "oh.." I say looking down, "but why was I sharing a blanket with you?" I ask brushing my hair back with my hand, "well you didn't have one and you looked cold, and as a nurse I'm supposed to take care of my patients!" She quietly says as she hugs me, and I think my face went from blue to red in seconds, well at least I think my face is blue, I haven't really looked in a mirror that long to notice, and as I look down I notice my shirt is gone! "Where is my shirt!?" I ask looking around, "I borrowed it.. after getting my shirt wet, I hung the jacket and needed another shirt, so, I took yours.." Melody says still hugging me, darn, why do I have to be a sound sleeper! Plus her little ribbons floating around must have lowered my defenses so I mustn't of felt her taking it off...... great... "can I have my shirt back...." I ask, giving up on even trying to get out of this mess, defeated, "ok but don't look back" Melody says letting go of me, and a moment later give me my shirt, and I slip it on, great now my shirt smells like her, Parker will have me executed for sure, oh well he'll have to deal with it, boy I sound weird saying that..
  "Parker get up!" I shout tossing his shield on him hearing an "ooff!" Escaping his mouth, "man, don't do that!" Parker says, still tired, "well better than making you deaf" I say tossing my backpack on, "I guess your right, hey, where are we gonna eat?" Parker asks folding his bed, "already planned out!" Melody says excitedly, "wow you guys do things fast!" Parker says surprised picking up his sword, combining it with a shield and puts it on his back, "now let's hurry and get going!" I says heading out the door, giving the Nidoqueen the keys to our room, "excuse me, your neighbor complained on hearing strange noises, was that you?" The Nidoqueen asks, "nope not us, we fell asleep as soon as we settled down" I reply heading out the door, leaving the hotel with Melody and Parker fallowing behind, "noises?" Parker asks looking back at the hotel, "well I don't plan to find out!" I say charging the bus stop getting on, paying for all three of us, "why we taking the bus?" Parkers asks sitting down next to me, "unless you wanna walk to the other side of the city, be my guest" I say looking out the window, "oh..." Parker says cleaning his shield.

30 minutes later...

  "Dude do you think you'll be able to pay for all three, this may be cheap but I mean.." Parker says opening the menu, "don't worry, just order what you please and I will be right back" I say heading toward the bathroom, as I walk in I see a shady figure walk past me, giving me a creepy smile, so I do my business and head out, only to find a fight between the shady figure who is a Malamar, "hey!" I shout, and the Malamar runs out, and I chase after him putting my money on the table by Melody as I run out, "no Max don't!" Melody yells trying to stop me, but I keep going, no one picks a fight with my friend and gets away with it, even if it's his fight I'm sick and tired of people threatening or fighting my friends! Then we head in an alley way, but then I get jumped by some Zangoos, pinning me down, "now you work for me!" The Malimar says stepping up to me, in your dreams!!  "Oh we will see about that!" The Malimar says using his psychic powers reading my mind, and then making it hurt, "bah!" I shout grabbing my head as the Zangoos let me go, and I fall on the ground blacking out.
  "What happened?" I ask seeing a Malimar stand in front of me, "it's ok I saved you from some terrible people who tried to kill you, but I saved you as they killed your family.." he says looking sad, "what why? What am I doing who am I?!" I ask, panicking, "shh, it's ok, since I saved you, do you wanna help me kill those goons who killed your parents?" The Malimar says giving me his hand, "of course! Anything to avenge my parents!" I say with rage accepting his hand, "good, now here is your first target.." he says showing me a photo of a man in a suit, and the address where he lives, "now find him and assassinate him!" The Malamar says pointing in the direction I have to go, "yes sir!" I say darting up the building, finding the man, and enter his house, as he reads his paper on the couch I walk in the room, "who are you and what are you doing?!" The man says panicked, "you know very well who I am, and now I'm going to kill you!" I say using Night Slash making a hidden blade, and jabbing it into his neck, "ga-!" The man says as he drops dead on the floor, bleeding, staining the carpet, this feels good! I chuckle to myself jumping out the window, "now who's next!?" I shout feeling all weird, waiting to murder someone else, and as a Delcatty and Starraptor walk side by side, holding arms, I throw the blade hitting the man in the temple, splitting blood all over the Delcatty, as she staggers back frightened, "aaahhh!" She screeches as I run up to her stabbing her in the gut with a sword of darkness, "everyone will die!" I laugh jumping up a building, my skin starting to pale, but I don't care....
