Chapter 17: Living Like A Criminal

  Gosh my head, where am I? What happened? "Well, your finally waking" a mysterious voice says as I start to stir, "where am I?" I ask, "not important" the voice replies, ok, "who are you?" I ask, "the names Serenica" Serenica huh, sounds like a girl, oh my gosh tell me we did not get kidnapped or saved by a girl... "where is Red?" I ask, "your friend is in the other room, still out I'm afraid" Serenica replies, staring out a window, "for how long?" I continue asking, "for a good two hours, and no more questions" Serenica sternly replies, with a tone of annoyance, gee what a person, then again we did just get our butts saved again, at least, I think, I get up putting pressure on my right arm, "ouch!" I say in shock, "boy that guys has some nerve to bite an arm" I continue as I run my wound which is covered by a clothe, "and you have some nerve intruding someone's privacy" Serenica says getting up and walking towards me, "good point, but, he did steal from a helpless person" a say back in defense, "good point returned, and in this world we say pokon, not person, we aren't humans remember?" Serenica says, and you a Serperior.... "What?" Serenica asks catching me stare at her, "oh nothin, just noticed you a Serperior" I reply, getting up to check on Red, "and your a Greninja so what?" Serenica says fallowing me, "I just like to say the names of Pokémon, types, attacks, ext." I reply opening the door, and find a Polywhirl girl sitting by Red, "Pearl what are you doing?"  Serenica says passing me, "I-I'm sorry, I j-just heard him g-groan and came t-to see what w-as wrong.." Pearl replies getting up and stepping aside as Serenica checks Red, "H-Hello, I'm P-Pearl.." Pearl says looking at me, "I'm Max" I reply, "hey Red wake up already!" I shout in Red's ear, "Bah!" Red says shooting up, "where am I, who are they, what happened?!" Red says still in shock, "calm down dude we are fine, that Serenica and that's Pearl, I grabbed you and jumped out a window into a dumpster and these two came and got us out before the cops came" I reply helping Red up as I do, "oh, thanks you two, but 'where' are we?" Red asks, "B-Burik City" Pearl replies, "gee sometimes I forget how big this base actually is, able to hold cities, weather controlled by moves, it's just amazing.." I say quietly, "Speaking o-of which, Serenica w-we need to h-head toward the r-rock type gym!" Pearl says in haste, "oh yeah let's hurry and get these guys outta here so we can go!" Serenica replies grabbing a bag, "why the rush?" Red asks stepping out of the way, "I entered a competition, if I can beat every gym type, and I mean EVERY gym, I can get a reward and Pearl and I can get outa this dump" Serenica replies grabbing me and Pearl grabs Red taking us to the door, "sweet, how can we sign up?" I ask, then everyone just stops and stares at me for an entire minute which felt like ten, "you guys just barely made it out alive! And you wanna sign up for the gym!?" Serenica says looking at me in disbelief, "hey I could use the training, plus it'll get me used to this place, and that battle wasn't really fare and square" I reply getting Serenica's grip of me, "not i-if your w-wanted" Pearl says still holding Red, "wanted?!" Red says jumping back, "yeah ever since your little incident, that Brutus and Gena went into Gena's room and Brutus pretended to be robbed" Serenica says grabbing me and continued taking us out, "oh I'm gonna-" I start but then get cut of by Pearl, "b-but it's will be i-impossible, the police a-are swarming t-the place, and y-your the victims" damn cheaters! Then again what do you expect from thieves. "Well I won't have it, Max we gotta clear our names, I'm not gonna get thrown in prison by some low people!" Red says sprinting to the door putting his hood on, "you coming or not?" Red asks opening the door, "heck yeah!" I say fallowing him out the door and hear, "Wait you idiots!" Serenica yelling behind us.
