Chapter 9: A Sticky Situation

   I start crawling through the vents faster and faster, trying to stay away from the voice behind me, "Is it just me or are the vents getting sticky?" I say out loud, "It's not you, the vents are sticky....." I hear the voice right above me, and as I look up, I see two purple eyes glaring at me, "Gah!" I shout in shock, my pace slowing cause of the sticky goo on the walls, "crawl little boy.... crawl..." the voice says, behind me again, then I feel gooey arms grabbing my legs, slowing me down..... and in panic, I use hydro pump in the vents, boosting me forward and the voice further behind me, "enough games boy!!" The voice screeches through the vents, getting closer.  I keep hydro pumping away, till I hit a corner and bang my head against it, "OW! That hurt.." I groan in pain, rubbing my head, then I look to the corner and see the purple goo speeding my way, "this is gonna hurt..." I say ready for the impact, being pushed against the vent breaking through into an open area.  I quickly regain conciseness, get up, and prepare for a battle, but as my eyes adjust to the dim room, I see it's covered in goo everywhere, "I got to get out of here" I say to my self and quickly look around to find a door somewhere, "hehehe" the voice giggles, "I haven't seen a Greninja boy yet.." the voice says, "apparently voices are the only thing I here, but don't know who or what is making them, am I going mad or am I asleep or something, cause this is too many voices" I say aloud, "no your awake.." the voice says, "otherwise you wouldn't feel this!" Then I feel a punch in my side and stand on one knee, "really... thunder-punch.." I say gasping, then with a sense of some sort, I dodge a ball of sludge, and quickly throw a water-shurken in the direction it came from, hitting the figure popping out, "gah!!" the voice yells, then sinks back in the muck, "lucky shot.." the voice says, the all the goo starts gathering in the center of the room, and forms a figure of a girl, "a muk! Poison type.. now your in for it!" I say to myself, then the girl says, "we haven't greeted properly, I'm Violet.." "I'm Max, and your goin down!" I say as I use Extrasensory, then a pink wave starts falling down on her, "gaaah!!" She screeches in pain, "please.... let me explain..." she says quietly, still trying to keep from fainting, so I stop.

   Violet slowly gets up and whispers, "take me with you... you can leave by yourself, only I'm able too get out through the vents, but the are powered with electricity, and I am stuck here, being their little vent guard, or something, but with your help, I can escape and help you.." then she holds out a disc, "shadow sneak.. you must learn it first" she says, "I don't want to get rid of my moves, and how do I know this isn't a trap?" I asked, "first off, because we are half Pokémon half human, we can learn five moves, and have a special sixth, second, they don't know I have you here.. I hide where they don't even expect me too, plus I was captured just like you, and brought here to slave for them.." she replies, do I take the TM and learn shadow sneak, "you can sneak past people invisibly for a short amount of time, use it wisely" Violet says as she crawls back in the vent, "let me know what you decide, I must go otherwise they get suspicious when they don't sense me in the vents.." and just like that she's gone.
