Chapter 16: Thiefs Lair

  Man what a day, I'm so sore that I feel like some over stretched rubber band, I know my comparisons don't go that well but hey I try don't I, anyway now that I'm refreshed I'm gonna go to the cafeteria, or, at least try and get there.  This place went from base to city in no time, especially since it's so deep underground, ally ways, shops, streets, gyms, I mean wow! "Hey watch it!" I say as I get bumped by a Mightyena who seems to be in a hurry, "stop! Thief!" A Delcatty shouts as she stops by me, "please help me, he took my items!" She says as she points helplessly toward the thief, who uses Sand Attack, and tries to hide himself in the dust as he takes a turn, so I quickly charge, and by instinct, take to the rooftops, running up the wall with ease, "man having Pokémon powers sure come in handy!" I say to myself as I reach the roof, and immediately I start to parkour on the roofs catching up with the Mightyena who ran into an ally way and entered a building, so I jump down not taking any fall damage as a regular human would, and just before I walk in, I sense I'm being fallowed, I quickly use Shadow Sneak and take cover, then I see a black figure fly in landing on a dumpster, then I pull out a Water Shuriken and chuck it at the figure who dodges it with a back flip, and as he or she lands I jump out and tackle the figure, and pull out a small black dagger made from Night Slash, "cool!" I say to myself holding it to the victims head, "woah dude chill!" The figure whispers to me, "Red?" I ask surprised, "the one and only" Red replies, "dude don't do that!" I quietly yell at him, "well you should probably buy a com, anyway what are you doing snooping around?" Red says looking around making sure we weren't heard, "me? What about you? Anyway, a Mightyena stole some stuff from a Delcatty and I'm trying to get it back" I reply, walking to the door and put on my hood, "what a jerk, steeling from a helpless little lady" Red says mockingly as he fallows and slips on his own hood, "you look good" I say jokingly, "can't say the same for you" Red replies with a chuckle, "shh!" I say as I open the door, "looks like some kinda club.." I say as we walk in, "hope it's not the weird one" Red whispers as we head deeper in with the crowd, "What's up with you two!" A Cacturn says, suspicious, "umm.." Red says trying to think of something, "looking for a friend who ran in here!" I quickly finish, "any idea on who it is?" The Cacturn says still not convinced, "he's a Mightyena!" Chan replies, "let's see here..." the Cacturn says as he starts flipping pages on a note pad, "you mean Brutus?" He continues, "yep that's him!" I say, hoping who it actually was, "he's up stairs, room 25, seems he was in a hurry, then again, ain't he always?" The Cacturn says point to a set of stair, "thanks!" Red says as we walk toward that direction, and climb the stairs, "nice save" Red says quietly, "same for you, now lets go get Brutus, sounds fitting" I say as we start approaching some rooms, as we pass one we hear strange sounds coming from it, Red and I continue on as we stare at each other wide eyed, "ok then...." I say as we near room 25, "yes, yes that's what I want!" We here a voice say in the room, "ok Ima Shadow Sneak in and see if he's our guys" I say quietly, "gotcha!" Red replies in a whisper.  As I sneak in I see a Froslass rubbing the Mightyena's shoulders, "you did it again babe.." the Froslass says in a seductive tone, "yes Gena, and after a few more heists, I'll be rich!" He says exited, then I hear, along with the other two, a creak outside the door, "damn!" Brutus says shocked, and Gena prepares a Shadow Ball along with Brutus, and as the door opens, both release their Shadow Balls at Red, and I quickly chuck two Water Shurikens slicing through the Shadow Balls making them disappear, "what the f-" Brutus exclaims but get cut off by Gena who uses Captivate, which catches Red and I off guard, and we start feeling a bit woozy, or dizzy, I don't know what to call it but it was bad, and Brutus uses Thunder Fang, growing a big electric snout, biting me, and Gena uses Draining Kiss, on Red, making him fall on his knees, and I use Ice Beam, shooting anywhere in the room not caring who it hits, just as long as it hits someone!
  And I end up freezing Brutus's leg to the floor, Gena's arm to the wall, and Reds wing to his back, and just as I was gaining consciousness, Gena, uses Ominous Wind, hitting Red and I, and the room becomes very dark and they disappear as it lights up again, "What's going on up there!!?" The Cacturn shouts as he climbs the stairs, so I quickly grab Red, who is regaining strength, and jump out the window, falling into a dumpster, "What the heck happened here?!" The Cacturn shouts, obviously annoyed, and before I start falling asleep, yes asleep, I here Howl and sirens getting near....
