Chapter 2: Yesterday

"Stop that kid!!" A guard yelled at me, then i quickly stopped my hydro pump, "what the heck...." I whispered to myself, then the guard hit me in the head with the butt of the gun, then it just went black.

I might as well tell you what happened the other day, so it was the usual, gun fires, tanks shooting, "whelp, better go to school, but first, I need to do something" I say to myself. I head off into an alleyway, jumping from crate to crate, doin my favorite parkor, finally making it to an arena, "here's the challenger!!" A voice yells from speakers, I walk up to see Jim, the Pokemon champ, and I'm about to dethrone him. "Well well, look who showed up for his little friend!" He spits at me, then the crowed laughs, "yeah, and you better not do it again!" I yell back, and if your lost, Jim locked Chan in his locker, and I said I'll beat him so he won't do it again, "heh, we'll see!" He replies, "BATTLE BEGIN!!" Yells the referee, "Go Chesnaught!" Yells Jim, "Get him Greninja!" I yell as I throw my pokeball, "ha! This'll be easy!" Jim spits out, "we'll see" I say to myself. "Chesnaught! Use frenzy plant!" Chesnaught send vines full of thorns toward Greninja, " Greninja dodge and use hydro pump!" I commanded Greninja, he hits Chesnaught directly in the face and Chesnaught goes sliding back, "ha!! Weak choice, Chesnaught use hammer arm!" Jim commands, Chesnaught then runs at Greninja full force, "look out!" I yell, "kou!" Says greninja as he dodges just in time, "now use hydro pump again!" I command, Greninja hits chesnaught full force, "cmon chesnaught he's weak, use wooden hammer!" Jim yells out, chesnaught hits Greninja, "KOU!" Greninja yells out in pain, "hang in there bud" I say quietly, "let's rap this up! Use hammer arm!" Jim spits out, "no I think we'll rap this up, Greninja use blizzard!" I yell, just before chesnaught got to greninja, he got hit with a strong blizzard and flew back unconscious, "Chesnaught is unable to battle! Greninja is the winner!" Yells the ref. "Great job bud, now return" I commanded my Greninja, "I gotta say kid, you surprised me" Jim says as he shakes my hand, "a deals a deal, I'll leave pips-quick alone" he tells me, "thx, and plz don't call him pips quick" I reply, "alright, but I'll get you back" he tells me as he walks off.
