Chapter 12: Tests Of Innocents

  "Ok let's try again....." Virgil says as he takes a deep breath and gets ready to speak, "what happened, why did they kidnap you, how did they kidnap you, and how did they find our base?" "Like I said.. I went outside to get some fresh air after a terrible dream, and some Metagross came and knocked me out, and about finding me and the base, I know as much as you do.." I reply, "how do we know your not lying?" A Florgess asks, "because you know way more than I do, I mean.." I say with a chuckle, "we are the new recruits, aren't we? And we never knew anything about you or what you guys want us to do, so I think you should be the ones talking.." I finish with a smirk.  A door opens and Barbaracle comes in, "sir, there are some kids here to see their friend, should I let them in?" He asks, "yes go ahead" Virgil replies, then Red,( btw I am changing Chan's name into Red do to a request), Parker, Vengeance, and Clad walk into the room, "hey guys what took you?" I say sarcastically, "eh that guard wouldn't budge, but Clad and Vengeance threatened him" Red says as the all gather by me, "what do you four want?" Virgil says annoyed, "wouldn't you want to know what's going on with your friend if all this happened?" Parker ask, getting a little tense, "well, if I was you I wouldn't worry 'bout my friend because he's with the leaders of this congregation."  Virgils replies and continues saying, "and because your friend says he's innocent he has to go through tests in order to be freed from his accusations..".  "Are you serious? As if I didn't go through enough!" I shout starting to lose my temper, " it's the only way dude, otherwise your stuck in jail" Clad says starting to walk around thinking, "then it's settled, meet us in the coliseum in 15 minutes, Clad will show you the way since he's been here long enough" then the Ninetales  says, "and if you try to escape, you and your friends will be put to treason..", " very welcoming to a bunch of newbies.." Red says sarcastically, "yeah better get used to it" Vengeance says as we start of toward the coliseum.

15 minutes later....

  "Welcome one and all!" A Nidoking says as he announced the event, "the first test will be agility! Max will have to avoid dangerous darts, arrows, needles, and more attacks while trying to get the flag at the end!" " great sharp things, yuppie.." I say nervous, "if Max fails the test, he will be proven guilty, but if he succeeds he will move on to the next test" "READY?! BEGIN!!" The Exploud yells, and I take off, running at surprising speeds! Then Poison Sting starts flying in my direction, and I dive for cover behind a rock in the coliseum, then Pin Missle flys in from the other side and I use shadow sneak just in time to move out of the way, then as I dash toward the flag, Hydro Pump is fired directly into my chest, knocking me 4 meters back, then a Solar Beam comes straight at me!

Meanwhile at the Enemy Base...

"My plan is perfect, soon when we get that Greninja, my plan will be a success, but you two better not fail me no more, otherwise you will join the Ghost type realm!" Margaret yells at Pheonix and Jim, as they exit the room.  "Soon enough max you will have no choice but to fight me face to face..."
