Maine was shocked to say the least when Nico said that she will not be the driver!
"Nico, what's going on? Who will be your champion this time?"
"Mendoza, si RJ muna patatakbuhin ko ngayon, bilang kagagaling mo lang sa sakit kahapon... Isa pa kailangan din niya ito para ganda siya if ever...!" Nico explained to him.
She glared at RJ who smiled apologetically because of the turn of events... She cannot contain it, hinatak niya si RJ sa tenga at nagpunta sa isang sulok...
"Faulkerson, anong sinabi mo kay Kulas at biglang-bigla ikaw na yung driver ngayon! Akala ko ba ako magpapalamon ng alabok sa gagong yun!" Maine said...
"Oppps! No bad words, Mendoza or else lilinisin ko yang bibig mo!" RJ said... "I just told him that you weren't feeling fine and alam niya yun db? Tinanong ko siya bakit isasabak ka ngayon?" RJ added...
"Di ba sabi ko nga sa iyo kanina na napikon siya sa hamon ng ga---!" Maine said but interrupted abruptly...
"Hahalikan kita, Mendoza kahit andiyan pa yang kapatid mo, sabi ko no bad words e! At pinagsabihan ko na siya tungkol sa nangyari... Isa pa gusto ko ring bawian yan alamang na yan dahil sa mga sinabi niya kanina... Naunahan mo lang ako!" RJ said, threat on his voice...
"Sus, tinalo nga kita e!" Pang-iinis ni Maine sa kanya...
"Nanalo ka kasi na-distract ako ng buhok mo noon! Napansin ko yung mga nahulog na hair locks mo!" RJ said...
"Wushuu... Sige na! Sabagay tama ka! Pinakiramdaman ko kanina ang sarili ko habang nagmamaneho ako papunta dito, may nginig pa e! Tapos naiinis pa ako sa alamang na yan... Deadly combo! Pangarap ko pang mag-run sa international race no! Galingan mo ha? Pwedeng pakilampaso para sa akin?" Maine said...
"Hala siya! Bakit hindi mo sinabi kanina e di sana hindi ka nagmaneho kanina...!" RJ said frustratingly..
"RJ, I need to do that to assess myself... Biglaan e! Hindi dahil sa kung Ano pa man, but I needed that to make sure na tama ang gagawin ko!" Maine said.
"So ako na lalampaso dito ha? Para sa iyo!" RJ said...
"Sure! O, sige na! Pa briefing ka na Kay Kuya... Since hindi naman ako ang sasakay ngayon, sisiguraduhin ko na maayos ang makina ng kotse mo! Trabaho muna ako!" Maine said, before turning back. However, RJ grabbed her arms at hinila siya pabalik...
"Promise, this will be the last time you will be hearing that asshole badmouthing you! And please let me handle this, I got you!" RJ said before he kissed Mendoza's forehead that turned them both beet red after...
"I will hold you onto that promise!" She said and run towards the machine shop before taking over Kuya Jose in checking the car...

"Dude, nakita ko yun ha? Nagpaalam ka na ba sa akin?" Nico said.
"Hindi sa iyo, kina Tito at Tita...!" Sabi ni RJ ng wala sa sarili...
"What???!!! Kelan????" Nico said, shouting...
"Tol, bakit ka sumisigaw? Kanina bago kami pumunta dito!" Balik sabi ni RJ...
"E siraulo ka pala e! Bakit hindi mo sinabi sa akin? Dapat andun ako para ipaliwanag Kay Tatay kung sino ka at baka MALI ang desisyon bilang payagan ka!" Nico said...
"Ang sama mo, dude! Mabuti na lang wala ka dun, baka nakasama pa! Muntik na nga akong mamatay sa talim ng tingin ni Tito mula sa airport papunta sa bahay ninyo!" RJ said with a small smile in his lips...
"Shit! Namiss ko yun!!!" Sabay batok Kay RJ...
"Shit, Tol, bakit mo ako binatukan?" RJ said...
"Siraulo ka e, di sana nakita ko ang mga mukha nila nung sinabi mo na! Shoot, half of my life namiss ko dahil sa iyo! Panalunin mo yan para makabawi ka sa akin or hindi mo makikita si Mendoza ng isang linggo!" Nico said with matching pout...
"Tol, isang linggo talaga? Paano kung siya mismo ang makipagkita sa akin?" RJ said with a smirk...
"Tol, wag ka masyado confident... Ibahin mo si Mendoza, wag lang assumero!" Nico said...
"Alam ko! Alam pambasag ka ng trip e! Sinira mo yung mood kaya pag natalo ako dito walang sisihan ha?" Sabay batok din Kay Nico...
"Wow! Feeling close dude? Kapatid ko si Mendoza oh! Magka-apelyido pa kami db?" Banta ni Nico...
"Ay, oo nga pala! Sorry, Kuya! Humanda ka pag ka-apelyido ko na siya!" Sabi RJ...
"Uyyy, ka-apelyido talaga? Taas ng confidence level natin, dude! At wag mo akong tatawaging Kuya kinikilabutan ako!" Nico said...
"Gagawin ko lahat, Kuya!" RJ teased Nico...
"Sige, isa pang tawag mo sa aking Kuya, pauuwiin ko si Mendoza!" Nico said...
"Uuwi ka na? Sige na kami na bahala dito. Ako na bahala Kay Maine!" Pang-aasar pa ni RJ Kay Nico...
"Mendoza!!!" Sigaw ni Nico...
Napatingin ang lahat Kay Nico pati na si Maine na nasa ilalim ng sasakyan... Wala siyang headset ngayon dahil ipinapakwento niya sa mga tauhan ang mga revisions na ginawa...
"O, anong problema mo, Nicolas Mendoza?" Sigaw din ni Maine pabalik...
"Hoyyy! Pikon ka talaga, Kulas e! Lakas mo mang-asar tapos Pag kami na napipikon ka?!!!" Sigaw din ni RJ na medyo mag-alala na rin dahil baka mapauwi nga si Maine...
"Ayos na ba yung sasakyan?" Sigaw pabalik ni Nico sa naghihintay na si Maine.  Nakahinga ng maluwag si RJ...
"Mendoza, Pag ako napikon dito sa manliligaw mo, pauuwiin kita! Ayusin mo ito!" Sabay talikod Kay RJ pagkatapos tapikin ng malakas sa likod...
"Kuya / Nico !!!!" Sabay na sabi ni Maine at RJ...
Humalakhak si Nico... Namula ang dalawa sa panunukso ng kapatid...
"Ummm, so nanliligaw na pala ang manok natin?" Sabi ni Sam...
"Manok talaga?!! Pero in fairness ha, hindi ka na torpe! Akala ko aabutin pa ng isang dekada bago ka pa manligaw e! Aba pareho na kayong tuyot nun! Hahaha...!" Sabi ni Joyce...
Lumabas na sa ilalim ng kotse si Maine at lumapit sa kanila...
"At least si RJ dekada lang, yun isa diyan, sentenaryo pa ang hinihintay bago magkalakas ng loob! Halika na nga, RJ... Hayaan natin ang dalawang yan baka magkatapatan din! Bye, centennial lovers!" Pang-aasar ni Maine na nakapagpapula ng mukha ng dalawa...
"Hahaha... Hahaha... Wag si Mendoza! Wag na wag!" Sabi ni Nico...
"Mendoza, kape!" Sabay hagis ng Susi ng motor ng Nico Kay Mendoza... "ATM at the office table..." He added...
"Okay! That will perk me up!" Maine said excitedly...
She pulled her hair in a bun, and then went inside the office to get the card, when she went out she is already in a tight leggings and riding boots and a boyfriend shirt... She is holding the helmet in her right hand...
"Coffee in half an hour!" She declared and put on her helmet... But before she could even drive, nakaback ride na si RJ and Sam toss him a helmet as well...
"Oh, sama ka?" Maine asked...
"Yap, and no questions asked!" RJ said and snake his arms around Maine's waist...
"OK, hold on!" Then she went over drive... Good thing though RJ is ready and he did not even falter at the sudden speed... And off they go...

"I guess the fortune teller's right... The key has been inserted and the door's unlock... It boils down on how we will work things out regarding our future...!" Nico said while patting the back of Sam and Joyce... Nagkatinginan ang dalawa sabay namula...

The day goes by without any interference in both party although they can see that Rick is still nursing an aching groin, thanks to Dei...
While Dei's team is still discussing the changes and techniques to RJ for references for the race today... RJ was amused in the changes that was made to his car... The exterior spell "angas"... White and red paint with sponsorship stickers on the side... His car now looks like its ready for an international races as if it was meant for it in the first place... He was grateful for it in contrast to the dread he is expecting the first time he learned about modifications...

And the race is on... Everyone is cheering and there was bet in the side... Much more than their usual bet... Both car came in nose to nose few meters approaching the finish line...

Maine mentally counting...

" Floor it!" She shouted... And it was the same time, the turbo features was activated by RJ and he won!

Maine was already at the driver side when RJ open it... The two hug and Maine is about to kiss RJ's cheek when he turned his face towards her.  That made the kiss landed on his lips... They were jolt by an electric tension they felt and both turned beet red... Both hearts palpitates...

"I can now see a better future... The door has been unlock... Either go for it or fight for it... But one thing, destiny!" Someone spoke at the back of Nico, while witnessing the drama in front of him... And he swear that he saw the fortune teller walking away from him...
