"Whats this about?" I look curiously at my mom, I have no clue whats going on.
"Just lets go downstairs and talk at the table, you can call it.....a....family meeting i guess?" She walks in front of me going downstairs into the diner room. I just simply follow her.
When we arrive at the table, I guess it wasnt only going to be us, because my father and brother is here. Oh crap.
"Okay first Melissa, we need to talk about this Harry guy." Surprisenly my mom was acting pretty calm about it.
"What is there to talk about?" I say
"Your father and I have agreed that you will not be seeing him but he can be a friend but you must be in our supervision to hang out with him." I have no clue how she is calm right now. Im tired of this I can chose what I want to do.
"No." I simply say, I am done with them treating me like a little five year old.
"Excuse me?" my father says.
"I am going to keep on dating Harry for once in my life I am happy and he is the reason for that! You guys have to understand im not no little kid anymore! For once in your life let me do something I want to do!" I yell at the top of my lungs...I have finally broke.
Everything is silent, no one is talking and there is no noise only the sound of breathing.
"Just please for once let me grow up, thats all I ask, I got good grades my whole life for you-"
My dad interrupts, "And you want to throw that all away? What about your dreams on going to New York University or the University in London?"
"I still have those dreams and I have been trying to do early applications to those colleges but neither have written back so if they dont, ive worked hard for nothing" I sigh. It has been my long time dream to go to those two schools but if I dont get in I would have to wait till next year, my senior year to apply and it would suck.
"Fine BUT I have to meet him first." I cant take the smile off my face right now and I cant believe they said yes to meeting him.
"Thank you both I will prove to you because I still plan on living my dream." I say
"But I still want you to be studying still!" my mom says. I just nod my head in agreement.
The door bell rings and I already have a feeling on who I think it is. I rush to open the door but somehow my dad gets there first.
Harry is at the door. "Hey Harry!" I run up to him and hug him tught not wanting to let go of him. He just shoots me a confused look.
"Come in Harry.." my dad puts his hand out for Harry to shake. I look at Harry to see what he is planning on doing....
He reaches his hand out, and my dad and him shake hands. Hopefully harry behaves himself because if he doesnt..... I dont know whats going to happen.

We sit down at the table, and my parents sit across from me and Harry. And my brother well, lets just say... he still hasnt came around to the idea of me and Harry. So im guessing hes in his room.
"How old are you Harold?" my mom asks and I can tell she still doesnt like him because she keeps giving him a mean look.
"I am 18 going to be 19 soon" he replies.
Harry and I are 2 years apart because this year I am turning 17.
"Do you plan on going to college?" My dad asks the question this time.
