Part 16: Hatred and Sorrow

"The arrow was poisoned!" Evelynn said while she and the others struggled to get up. "How coward you are!" Elsa said. "Now, this is the antidote. You'll have them if you hand those masks to me!" Scarlet laughed. "Never!" Elsa said and got up. "Evils like you never deserve these masks." Shiela said and got up. "Only those who are pure in heart are only chosen to bear these! We won't hand them to you." Evelynn said and got up.

"Girls, NOW!"Elsa said. The three blast a smoke screen and escaped. "Get after them, Arcelia! Don't let them escape!" Scarlet said. "Yes, your majesty!" Arcelia, her trusted archer said and went out to find the Trio. The three went to the woods never seen by Scarlet's minions. "Girls, looks like it's time for us." Evelynn said. "The poison is spreading fast. What should we do mother?" Shiela asked.

"We need to perform the soul transfer spell. Also, we have to warn Lux while doing that!" Elsa answered. Meanwhile, at the Elemental castle, "Elements answer my prayers... What should I do to master dark?" Lux asked (she's at her Water Form). The elements almost showed Lux what to do when Elsa, Shiela, and Evelynn appeared before her in her vision. "Elsa, Shiela, Evelynn? What are you doing here?" Lux asked.

"You have to help us, Lux." Shiela said. "What? How can I help?" Lux wasked. The three smiled at her making Lux to be suspicious. "Did something happened to the three of you?" Lux asked. "It doesn't matter now, We need you to recover our masks from Scarlet." Elsa said. "But how? I'm not strong enough like you?" Lux asked. "You have! The Elements will guide you." Elsa answered.

As they were still talking, Elsa and the others started to disintegrate, forming a wisp-like shape with their distinctive colors: violet, blue, and light blue. "Please don't go." Lux cried. "Our time talking to you is limited. I'm sorry, Lux but we have to go." Evelynn said. "Fulfill what needs to be fulfilled and you will get our masks in no time." Shiela said. "Remember Lux, even if we're gone, we're still here. We'll guide you in restoring what's lost." Evelynn said. After that, they disappeared after their soul was transferred into their masks.

Arcelia found their masks and presented them to Scarlet. "Finally, these masks were mine now!" Scarlet laugh. But as she wear it, the mask didn't do anything. "Only those who were good and pure in heart can wear these masks." Elsa, Shiela, and Evelynn said, which repeated many times until they finally stopped. She ordered her soldiers to destroy them but to no avail. She then puts the masks in the the underground and puts a barrier on the door that only light can destroy it.

 "NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!"Lux cried. Her light vanished and darkness began to crawl her body. Rage, vengeance, sorrow, and grief filled her heart. Thus transforming her into what the Star Guardians feared the most: Dark. "I promise to get you back! Now that I mastered the tenth element, I will rebuild this castle and call it the Sanctuary. This will be the home for the people who were affected by this war. I'll promised to finish this war with the three of you. Count on it!" Lux said.
