The Masquerade Trio 2: The Elemental Bearers

Part 26: Departure: Part 1

Elsa wipes off Lux's tears and told her to smile as always. "Thanks, Elsa. You reminded me of how much a queen must be to serve her people well." Lux said. "Thank you, Lux. I need you to be strong like us. This war's not over yet." Elsa said. "So, what are you gonna do now, Elsa, Shiela, and Evelynn?" Lux asked. "We need to talk with Bayonetta and Jeanne. They both know what to do." they said.

"Well, those two weren't here yet. They told me many months ago that they will be looking for something." Lux said. "That was for us." Evelynn said. "They were looking for Dialga, Palkia, and Giratina." Shiela said. "The masters of Time, Space, and Distortion? I think I met Dialga many days ago." Lux said. "That means..." Evelynn thought for a moment. "Jim has returned. He helped me many times now too." Lux answered.

"Jim was the only one who can call them with ease." Elsa said. "Maybe, but we have to wait until those two return right?" Lux said. "That's an affirmative." Shiela said. "You need to rest though, Lux. Staying up late all night may ruin your beauty." Elsa said. "I know." Lux said and hugs the Trio. "But I want you three to stay with me until I fell asleep." she added. "Of course, Lux. We won't leave our friend behind after all." they said.

Lux then changes her attire and went to sleep with Elsa, Shiela, and Evelynn. The next day, Lux woke up cuddling the masks. They were still glowing with their distinctive colors. "I guess I wasn't dreaming after all. Good morning Elsa, Shiela, and Evelynn." Lux said. After she bathed herself, she put on her usual shimmering white-and-gold dress. As always, her cleavage and upper half of her back was on display.

It was matched by her white gloves and knee high, high heeled boots finished the ensemble, along with her signature perfume: Jasmine with a hint of Rosemary. After she dressed up, Lux went into the throne room  with a smile on her face. "You looked happy today, Lux." Jim said. "Of course." Lux answered. Jim then noticed that Lux holds the masks and that they were glowing.

"No way!" Jim said happily. "They came back for us. They thanked me for bringing them back." Lux said. Lux then went to the throne and reported that their mission was a success. "But we don't have to celebrate yet. Our enemies will strike back so we must prepare. Remember to be vigilant at all times, got it?" Lux said. All of her troops, Champions, and Heroes nodded in approval. She then dismissed them and goes back to the garden.

"I do remember this garden, Lux." Elsa said. "Thanks for bringing me here." she added. "I know, Elsa." Lux smiled. "I'm going to miss this garden." Elsa said. "Don't worry. You three will be back, right?" Lux said. "Don't be so down, Lux. Of course, we'll return." Elsa said. Lux then smiled for a while and she watched the golden flower for a second. "Lady Lux, the two Umbra Witches has returned." her soldier informed.

"On my way." Lux said. She went back to the throne room where Bayonetta and Jeanne were waiting. "So, how's your search?" Lux asked. "We looked but they're not showing up." they answered. "You don't need to worry. Jim is with us now." Lux said. "Well that's a relief." Bayonetta sighed. "What's more..." Lux showed the Masks to Bayonetta and Jeanne. "Good work, Lux!" the two cheered.

"So, how should we brought them back?" Lux asked. "Our past were the key. Using the powers of the dimensions, we can travel back to our time. Only the blood of our past selves is needed." Elsa said. "B-blood?!" Lux asked. "Yes, but only a drop of it on our masks and a certain spell will do." Shiela explained. "Oh, I see. So you only needed one drop. I thought of... something else..." Lux said shyly.

"So, what's the spell we have to say?" Evelynn asked. "By the blood whose spilled on this mask, bring back the soul who's sealed inside!" says the Umbran sisters. "Do we have to say it or?..." Shiela asked. "Your past forms will be the one to say it. But make sure that they trusts you first. Because if they weren't, the spell might not work." Bayonetta warned. "Thanks, Bayonetta and Jeanne." Elsa said. "Just doing our part." the two said.

"I think that's one of my lines." Lux said jokingly. "We know, Lux. We already know..." Bayonetta laughs. After a short while, they all went to Jim's location. He was meditating on a cliff and mastering a secret technique regarding his visual prowess. "I already sensed the six of you from a mile away." Jim said and opens his eyes. "We only came for your help." Lux said. "Let me guess, the Masters of Dimensions." he answered.

To Lux's surprise, Jim already read her mind. "H-how did you..." Lux said. "I was harnessing something." Jim answered. "So, the time has come, I guess." he gets to the point. "Yes, hon." Evelynn said. Jim then sighed and he told them that summoning the three at once won't be easy. "Those ones were eternal rivals. Only Oracion can quell the three of them and also my visual prowess." Jim said. He then reveals his visual prowess to them.

"T-that symbol!" Bayonetta said. "Where or how did you get that?" Lux asked. Jim then reverts his eyes back to normal.
