Part 25: OPERATION: Revival

Meanwhile, at Scarlet's castle...

"That light attacked us. It's not an ordinary light." Arcelia said. "I need to consult the Overseer before that. I'll be putting you in charge, Arcelia. I need to know who we're up against." Scarlet said. "Understood." Arcelia replied. "I won't let anything stand in our way of dominating this planet. We must eliminate this threat." Scarlet said.

One of Lux's spies were listening very carefully on Scarlet's conversation. After he knew when the Dark Sorceress will leave, he returns back to The Sanctuary without even noticed by the enemies. "That's great news. We have to plan this one out. We don't have much time." Lux said. "Well actually, we can get those masks back without being noticed." Jim said. "How?" Lux asked him.

"We need to put this on the food and beverage on Scarlet's monsters. After they fell asleep, if that works, then we can infiltrate her castle without bothering or causing an alarm." Jim said. "Like attacking an enemy stealthily. That might work." Lux said. "Now all we have to do is to have our trusty servants to put those sleeping formula on Scarlet's monsters." she added.

"Then let's set this plan in motion." Jim said. Then Lux gathered her forces and started to plan their stealth assault on Scarlet's castle. After a few hours, Lux successfully laid everything according to plan. "We'll have to wait until she leaves..." Lux said and she dismissed her troops. The next night, Scarlet and her troops left the castle. Little did they know that Lux and her troops were positioned themselves in the shadows. 

After they left, Lux used her spell and disguised herself as an old woman and gave the potion to one of Scarlet's chefs and butlers. "We're almost set." Lux changes back to her form. She saw Scarlet's minions fell asleep one after another. "Let's go." Jim said and lead Lux inside. Lux went to the hall were she felt a mysterious aura. "This aura... I felt them. But where?" Lux said. "You won't find them... Elemental Bearer." A voice said to her.

Suddenly, three arrows were launched towards Lux. "Looks like the potion didn't work on somebody. Who are you?" Lux said. "I am Arcelia, one of Scarlet's assassins. Of course, I have this amulet that protects me from harm." Scarlet said. "So, was it you who killed them? Your arrows have a hint of poison in them. Just like what I've envisioned on my friend's death." Lux said. "Yes. It was I who planned the trap." Arcelia said. "Do you think I'll let you get away with this?" Lux said.

"I'd figured you've said that." Arcelia fires a shot towards Lux but she dodges it. "I'm not going die here. I kept a promise and that's why I fight!" Lux said and engages Arcelia. The two fought fiercely but then, Lux snared Arcelia and illuminated her. Lux then told Arcelia to stop fighting her because it's meaningless. "Meaningless? Serving Lady Scarlet was my responsibility and I will do anything to help her." Arcelia said.

She then fires another arrow at Lux. But the Lady of Luminosity shielded herself from the arrow. "You served her for power. That's what makes you weak!" Lux said and snared her once more. "Being free from anything makes you even stronger. Please, we don't have to fight anymore." Lux begged to Arcelia once more and went away. But Arcelia's dark heart make her to shot Lux again but little did she know that Lux uses Lucent Singularity which detonates after a few seconds.

"Dark should fear the Light." Lux said. "I told you to stop because I won't fight you. But now, you left me no choice!" Lux said. Arcelia shot her once again but Lux dodges her arrows and snared her. "Dark can only exist in my absence, just like you." Lux said. "Now fade in the light. Incandesce!" Lux said and uses her ultimate at Arcelia. Lux was exhausted after that but she has enough strength left in her. She saw Arcelia slowly desintigrates but she warned Lux that she's too late.

Lux moves with haste and finally found the lever which leads to the Trio's Masks. When she arrived at the Underground Chamber, she uses Lucent Singularity and broke the barrier, but Lux was too late. The mask had stopped glowing and she didn't felt their aura anymore. "Elsa? Shiela?... Evelynn?.... No..." Lux said and hold the three masks close to her. "Lux! We have to go or else..." Jim said but then, he saw Lux crying with the masks close to her. "It's all my fault. If I didn't hesitate, I could've save them." Lux said.

"Don't cry, Lux. At least we try our best too. It's just we're not fast enough." Jim said to her. "We have to go now, Lux. Our enemies may awaken soon." he added. Jim and Lux went out as fast as they could. Carrying the Masks, they all went back to The Sanctuary safe and sound. At Lux's room, Lux hugged the the Trio's Masks. "I'm sorry. I failed you." Lux cried.

Her tears began to fall on the Masks. As soon as her tears fell, a faint light glowed from the Masks. The Masks then glowed to their distinctive colors. As Lux wiped her tears away, she saw the Masks glowing and forms into the Trio's Spirit Form. "Thank you, Lux. Your determination and courage brought us back." Elsa said. "And I thought I lost the three of you. I'm glad you're here once again." Lux smiled.
