Part 33: The Elemental Faceoff

Following the last night's event. Evelynn was sleeping with Jim and was snoring loudly. This made Evelynn woke up and happily pushed Jim off the bedroom, making a loud thud as he falls off his bed. "Ow! What's that for?!" Jim asked her. "It's for disturbing my peaceful slumber." Evelynn replied. "Oh that... I did snore huh? Sorry about that." Jim said. "It's okay, hon. Happens to everyone." Evelynn said.

Meanwhile at Scarlet's Castle....

"How were those three doing?" Scarlet asked. "The Trio has been improving since last time. It won't be long before those three will be strong enough to beat you, my lady." Arcelia replied. "It doesn't matter. Once the Elemental Mask is mine and I have the Light Bearer, the victory will be on us!" Scarlet laughed.

She then proceeds with her next plan of striking back at Lux's territories.

Back at The Sanctuary...

"It seems that you've been improving since the last time we've met, Lux." Elsa said. "It might been two days or less since I've been trained under your care. Now, I know how to master the Elements." Lux answered. "Now, for your final training or rather challenge, you'll have to beat me in combat." Elsa said. "So soon?" Lux asked. "We can held a schedule if you want to practice." Elsa answered.

"How about tomorrow?" Lux asked. "Okay then, but make sure that you're prepared by then." Elsa said and went on her room. "Tomorrow it is then." Lux said. "Don't be afraid Lux." says a voice. "That voice... Could it be?" Lux then looked behind her and saw Luz, her ancestor. "Great Ancestor!" Lux said. "I have known you since the day you were born, and what you're capable of." Luz said.

"But Elsa was Eira's descendant and also Eira was stronger than you. I can't defeat her because I'm not stronger than she was." Lux said. "You only have to believe, Lux. Just relax and calm your mind. You did beat me before. I'm I wrong?" Luz asked her. "Yes, but in Elsa's case... No, I'll have to defeat her!" Lux said. "That's the spirit, Lux! Keep that positive mind and anything will be possible to you." Luz said and vanished.

"If only that will be possible..." Lux said and went on training herself. The next day, Lux prepared herself as she goes out from her training ground. She was met by Elsa who also was prepared to face her. "So, my student, are you ready?" Elsa asked. "I am." Lux answered. "Well then, shall we head on?" Elsa asked and opens the portal. "Yes, my mentor. Let's settle this." Lux said. The two went on the portal where their battlefield was a snowy forest.

"The battle is simple, each of you will freely use the elements you want. The battle's over if one of you will surrender or fainted." Bayonetta instructed. "Wait, I thought there's only two of us battling each other." Lux said. "Don't worry, Lux. We'll only spectating you fight." Jinx said as the Star Guardians watched her. "Don't focus on them, Lux. Remember who's your opponent." Elsa said. "Thanks for the guidance, my mentor." Lux said and prepares herself.

"Let the battle begin!" Bayonetta shouted. Elsa and and Lux flew towards each other in battle While Shiela and Evelynn were shouting for Elsa, the Star Guardians were shouting for Lux. The two were fierce in combat one after the other, they used every bit of their Elemental Forms and lastly, Elsa chooses her Ice Form in which Lux countered with Magma Form, in which Elsa was caught off guard. 

"Lava Fountain!" Lux shouted as she fires Elsa a burning hot lava on her. Although she dodged it, Elsa was trapped by Lux's Lava Binding forcing Elsa to use her own ultimate. "Glacial Storm!" Elsa shouted as she fire a barrage of ice around her, hitting Lux. "You're strong, Lux. No doubt. But, don't think because you have the advantage doesn't mean you win." Elsa said and the two clashed once more.

Elsa went towards Lux and and managed to dodge here Magma Singularity, only to be hit be her Magma Binding. "Game over!" Lux said. "Lava Fountain!" she then shouted her ult and hits Elsa with it. "The battle's over! The victory goes to Lux!" Bayonetta shouted. Lux then hurriedly went on Elsa's side if she suffers heavy damage. "I'm fine, Lux, and congrats." Elsa said. Good thing she received minor bruises.

"I finally did it..." Lux said to her. "But you DID only use 10% of your powers, right?" Lux said. "Yeah. I was about to release my full capacity but, I really want you to win." Elsa said. "That's mom for you... She always wants her opponent to win. Except for her enemies, of course." Shiela said. "But, I used my full capacity, haven't I?" Lux said. "You sure did. But Let's skip that." Elsa answered. 

"Now that you've fully mastered the elements, I will now pronounce you, Luxanna Crownguard, as a true Elemental Bearer. Congratulations." Elsa said. "Thanks Elsa." Lux said. "Well, are we just going to celebrate here? I'm really freezing here." Evelynn said. "That's because you're wearing less clothing." Janna and the other Star Guardians remarked. "Says the one with the red hair too." Evelynn replied pointing her finger at Jinx. The two then started another arguing.

They went to the portal after that. That night, during the celebration, Lux looked up in the sky. "I wonder how my comrades will felt after that victory." Lux said. "Seems like the night's still young." Elsa said. "Sure does..." Lux said. As they were talking, five comets are falling towards The Sanctuary's entrance hall.
