{Chapter Twø|-/Josh Dun}

"We're Twenty One Pilots and so are you." Tyler yelled into his microphone. We headed off stage but quickly stopped when screams erupted behind us. It wasn't the excitement screams though. No. It was the terrifying screams that chill you to the bone. The ones that give you shivers up your spine.

"He's got a gun!" Someone yelled.

Me and Tyler were frozen in place. Our fear stricken bodies trying to figure out what to do. We stared at each other, trying to come to a conclusion.

All of the crew began running towards us, trying to push us back into the back so we could get on the bus but we were glued. We couldn't leave the fans.

Our minds snapped to the same decision at the exact same time and we both began running towards the stage. Tyler still had his microphone but it had been cut off when the commotion started.

"Hey!" We yelled. It became eerily quiet as everyone turned to us. We could see the man that had the gun in the center of the mosh pit. He looked towards us and I could see the sadness that filled his eyes.

"He's not here to hurt anyone Tyler." I said quietly.

"Yes he is. He's here to hurt himself."

I looked back over to the man and I saw exactly what Tyler saw. A depression ridden man that wanted to end it all. He wanted to see the one band that had saved him for so long but nothing was saving him anymore. He was just trying to end it.

And if we stand here not doing anything, it'll be our fault he does it.

Me and Tyler looked at each other and began to slowly make our way to the man. No one moved but us. Everyone stared at the gun that was in the man's hand, pointing to the ground.

"Hi. This is..this is Josh. And I'm Josh's Best Friend."

"Hello."

"Sir...I know what going on in your head right now. I know what that feels like." Tyler said.

The man said nothing.

"I know what it feels like to be so close...but so far away from freedom. You're so close to pulling that trigger. You're so ready to just..go."

The man looked down at the gun. He smiled slightly at the thought.

"But you can't do it."

The smile turned to a frown quickly and the man looked up at Tyler.

"I'm not saying that you aren't capable of doing. I know you are. I know all of you are. I know Josh is. I know I am. But you can't do it. I don't care if you are going through some of the hardest things you have ever encountered. You can't do it. You have to stay alive. Stay alive for me. For Josh. For yourself. How do you see the end if you can't make it through the beginning? How do you see the good when you won't even try to get through the bad?"

"I don't want to see the end." The man said.

"Why not?" Tyler asked.

"In the end, my wife will die. She has two weeks. That's it. I can't stand to see that."

"What if she lives? What happens if you are the reason she dies?"
