I'm going to skip ahead a bit because I'm not sure how to continue on. We're going to say it's a few months later. June of 2015. Obviously the Vessel tour is over. They've been in Ohio since the beginning of December of 2014. Just finished their newest album and awaiting the day to release it. Adeline and Taylor have a daughter by the name of Arin Esther York. Her birthday is December 1st. That would make her seven months old. Please don't be angry at me for skipping I just have a lot of ideas for this story and her being pregnant takes up time.{Chapter Thirteen|-/Tyler Joseph}
Arin.
Arin Esther.
Today marks the first day of me ever seeing Arin in my life.
Adeline and Taylor had a fall out. He's been cheating on her since she got pregnant and she only just found out. Sadly Hayley knew and never said anything so her relationship with Paramore has been trashed.
Adeline is coming to see us. Well, Josh actually. We left as soon as the festival was over and I haven't seen or spoken to her in over a year.
How do I feel about it? It breaks my heart but I won't ever tell her that. Hell, I might not say anything to her.
I was pulled out of my thoughts by the ringing of the door bell.
Oh heck..
"Hey!" Josh yelled. I rounded the corner to see the man with red hair pull a girl with lavender hair into a hug. When she pulled away, she turned and grabbed a baby carrier and followed Josh into the house.
"I want to see the little one!" He yelled when the door was closed behind her. She laughed and crouched in front of the carrier, unbuckling the baby in guessing. Before I could see her, Josh had taken the baby and was talking to her.
"Hey Ty.." The girl with lavender hair said.
"Hey." I said, not meeting her eyes.
"I missed you guys." She said. I nodded, not saying anything because I knew she didn't actually miss us.
"Ty.." she started but I cut her off.
"Not now." I snapped and stepped towards Josh. He smiled at me and held his arms out to me, offering me the small individual. I reached out and pulled her to me.
She didn't look like Taylor at all actually. She was the spitting image of Adeline and for that I was thankful. It was easier to think of her as Adeline's and not Taylor's that way.
"Hi Arin." I whispered, smiling as the baby grabbed my finger. I carried her into the living room so I could sit down and have her in my lap. I heard the other two follow.
Josh and Adeline talked about anything and everything while I sat and played with the baby until she finally fell asleep in my arms.
"Wow Ty. You're good. She never falls asleep without her blanket." Adeline said, waving a very familiar blanket in my direction.
It was the one that me and Josh sent as a gift when we found out it was a she.
I smiled at the thought of her choosing our blanket and no one else's. It was comforting in a way.
"Do you want me to take her?"
"No! I'm good." I said quickly. Adeline nodded and relaxed in her seat.
"It's been hectic these past few weeks. I haven't been able to relax in a long time. It's refreshing." Both me and Josh nodded in understanding. Relaxing is refreshing.
After a while, Adeline fell asleep on the couch. Josh decided to carry her to his room so she could sleep more comfortably without interruptions.
...
About an hour after Addy fell asleep, Arin woke up, leaving me and Josh to occupy her. We played with little toys that were in the diaper bag and played with Josh's bright hair. We read a book and watched cartoons. We had fun. I was happy.
"You guys didn't have to watch her. You could have woken me up." Adeline said as she walked downstairs. It was now six o'clock and Josh was fixing grilled cheese sandwiches while I fed the baby. She was eating carrots and sweet potatoes. Gross.
"No worries. We've had fun." I said as I made a face while spooning food into her mouth. She laughed a sweet little giggle and ate the food, smiling at me and waiting for me to make another face.
Adeline sighed in content as she sat down across from us, watching.
"You're really good with her Tyler." She said suddenly. I looked up and smiled.
"I guess we should head over to find a hotel. We'll see you guys tomorrow." Adeline said when we finished eating. I looked up in surprise.
"Why don't you just stay here? We have a spare bedroom." Josh said.
"I don't want to burden you guys." She said quickly. We both shook our heads no and all but begged her to stay.
"We can make a little blanket bed for her until tomorrow. I'll go get a pack and play." I said. She nodded after a few minutes of thought.
...
"Goodnight little Arin! We'll have loads of fun tomorrow!" I said to the little girl, kissing the top of her head. She smiled and let her eyes droop shut, exhaustion covering her.
I smiled at her sleeping face as I carried her to the pallet we had built for her. She held onto my hand for a moment before relaxing and letting go. I sighed and turned to head back downstairs.
"Is she asleep?" Adeline asked when I rounded the corner into the living room. I nodded and sat down next to her.
"Addy. I want you to know that I'm still hurt by what happened but I'm not mad at you. I understand she was a mistake but I think she's the best mistake you've ever made. I'll be here to help you no matter what. If you ever need anything you can come to me. I love you and I'll love you until the day I die. Don't ever forget that. I understand if you pick him. Or anybody else. I'm here forever. I'll love you always." I said to the girl next to me. I heard her sigh and lean onto my shoulder.
"I love you too Ty. I love you so much it hurts. Right now, I want to focus on her though."
"I understand and you know, I'm going to help you. I won't be her real dad but I'll be as close to it as possible." I said, wrapping my arm around her shoulder.
"Thank you Tyler. Thank you so much."
"Always sweetheart. Me and Josh are always here."
