{Chapter Ten|-/Tyler Joseph}

"Ty?"

"What?" I snapped. I immediately regretting it when I saw her face drop. Dang it.

"I'm sorry." I said, pulling her to my chest.

"Are you mad at me Tyler?" She asked, a look of sadness growing and covering her beautiful features.

"No sweetheart. I'm not mad at you."

"Then what's wrong?" She asked, rubbing my back softly.

"Just in an...uncomfortable situation."

"Because of me?"

I didn't want to tell her that Taylor staring at her the way he is was really bothering me. I didn't want to tell her because that would make me seem possessive and she actually isn't mine.

"No sweetie. Don't worry about it." I said. She gave me a doubtful glance but didn't push the subject.

"Hey Adeline!" A voice called from the front lounge. I immediately put voice to name as Taylor. I rolled my eyes, hoping Adeline wouldn't notice.

Of course she did and gave me a confused look before going to see what he wanted.

"No. I'll just stay here with Tyler." She said. I heard more talking and she declined once again.

She came back and sat down with me. Once everyone left, she sighed and looked over at me. I smiled and kissed her lightly on the lips. She smiled back but it didn't reach her eyes.

"Why do you have a problem with Taylor?" She asked suddenly. I let out a breath but didn't answer.

"Tyler."

"It's nothing Adeline. Just drop it." She didn't say anything else but I could see it in her eyes that she really wanted to.

I leaned over and kissed her once again, but this time, it wasn't just a little peck. This was full of desperation. I needed her to know how much I cared for her.

...

"Tyler! Can you please tell me what's wrong with you? You've been acting strange since Paramore got here last week. What's going on? Do you not like Taylor?" Adeline yelled at me. It seemed like the entire bus went silent. Everyone on the bus currently was listening.

"I said drop it!" I yelled back.

"No I'm not going to drop it Tyler. There's something going on and you aren't telling me!"

"Fine! You win. No I don't like him. I don't like the way he looks at you. I don't like the way you two act around each other." I yelled. She looked at me, shocked by my words.

"You don't get to decided who I talk to Tyler and if you have a problem with that then I'll just leave." She said. She grabbed her bag from her bunk and made her way towards the front of the bus.

"You said you'd never make me feel like I was alone? Isn't that what you want all your fans to feel like? You want to make them feel like they aren't alone? You promised you'd always be there for me Tyler. You promised. And now you're letting him get in between us?" I said nothing. She walked out towards the front of the bus, leaving me to watch her figure walk away.

{Josh Dun}

"I'm going to Hayley and Brendon's bus." Adeline mumbled. I nodded and yelled bye before she shut the door.

Panic! joined us a few days ago. They're excuse was they had nothing better to do. We weren't complaining though.

I walked back towards the bunks to be greeted my sobs. I yanked Tyler's curtain and sat next to him.

"Tyler, it's okay. Just let her cool down."

"She ran to him Josh. She ran to him because I let him get in between us." He sobbed.

"It's going to be okay." I said, patting his back.

"No it's not. I lost." He cried. I pulled him into a hug.

"Ty please stop crying. You're going to be okay." He mumbled something that I couldn't make out but I didn't question. I just let him cry into my shoulder while my insides were twisting with anxiety. My two best friends were fighting and I could do nothing about it.

...

"What did you guys do to Adeline?" Hayley yelled as she ran up the bus steps. Me and Tyler were just about to go into the venue but she stopped us.

"Nothing." I said quietly, hoping she'd stop.

"Obviously. That's why she ran on the bus crying in Taylor's arms right?" I looked over and knew her words stung Tyler. He flinched immediately at the sound of Taylor's name but didn't respond.

"Please stop Hayley." I pleaded.

"Fine. But just so you know, she's leaving with us."

I froze at her words. Brendon and Hayley's bands were about to split off onto their own tour. This was their last show.

"You don't make that decision Hayley." I snapped.

"I didn't. She did." She said with a shrug and turned, heading back to her bus.

"She's leaving." Tyler said quietly. I turned just in time for him to burst into tears.

...

"This next song is called Screen."

The entire time he sang, he looked side stage and I knew he was singing to her, trying to win her back. I glanced over at her every once in a while and I knew he was getting to her.

Tears were running down her face by the time the song was over. She took off running towards him, not caring about all the people staring. She must have whispered something into his ear because his smile grew.

The clique seemed really confused but cheered none the less. They clapped and chanted and screamed and everything.

Adeline ran backstage once again and we continued the show, the smile staying on Tyler's face the rest of the show.

Joseph-1. York-0. Guess who's winning now sucked.

After the show, we all crowded into our bus to say goodbye to Paramore and Panic!. It was sad to say bye to Brendon and his band but I was all but jumping for joy when Paramore left. Without Adeline I might add.

She is currently in the passenger seat of the car I rented. We were heading back to the venue from our taco run. She had fallen asleep with her head against the window. I was desperately trying to miss the potholes in the road so I wouldn't wake her.

Bump

"Why can't they just fix these roads? All I want is to get back without waking you." I mumbled. I began humming a tune in my head and began thinking up some words to go with it.

"You fell asleep in my car I drove the whole time. But that's okay I'll just avoid the holes so you sleep fine."
