"I..I don't think I can do this." Adeline said, stumbling as she walked towards me. The bus was becoming a struggle for her to get around. She couldn't find everything easily like she was used to.

"Yes you can, Ads." I said, catching her before she fell.

"I can't. I really can't." She said as tears brimmed her eyes.

"I know you can Princess."

"Tyler.." she started but I slapped my hand over her mouth before she could continue.

"Don't argue." She nodded and wrapped her arms around me. I hugged her back and repeatedly said everything will be okay.

...

"They're giant, Tyler.." Josh said, fear coating his words.

"Josh. It's okay. They're just dogs." I said, patting his back softly.

"Hi! My name is Tara! I'll be assisting you in your search for the perfect Guide Dog!" This girl that looked about 30 said, walking up to us. Me and Josh looked at each other, trying to hold back laughter.

"Hi Tara. This is Josh. I'm his best friend, Tyler. We're looking for one to help our friend. She's blind and we think it'll be good for her." I said.

"Is she with you? The guide and the owner really need to...click. They have to choose each other." She said. Me and Josh shared another glance. I could tell he was thinking what I was. She was insane.

"Um.. yeah. I'll go get her." Josh said, walking away as fast as possible.

"May I ask if there is a certain size dog you need?"

"Nothing giant." I said quickly.

"Okay. Well all of our guide dogs are in the same room for training purposes. It's easier for them to learn off of each other. All the dogs In this particular room have been trained in an advanced category." She said to me. I heard the door close behind me and Josh and Adeline joined us.

"Follow me." Tara said brightly.

We entered a room full of dogs. They didn't go wild like I thought they would though. They watched us as we walked around.

Tara brought over a dog after dog. None of them too big.

"I just don't know. I don't think I could trust them.." Adeline said honestly, brushing her hands on her pants. "This is my life we're talking about."

Then, a giant German Shepherd wandered over to us. I swear it was twice the size of all of these dogs. It came to right at my waist and I'm betting if it stood on its hind legs, it would be as tall as me.

"Robin.." Tara warned. The dog immediately stopped walking. Adeline put her hand out, wanting to feel the dog. As soon as her hand brushed it, she fell in love.

"Oh my gosh." She gasped. Me and Josh looked at each other, knowing this was the dog. The biggest one here..we're going to be killed.

"Is that the one Addy?" Josh asked. She nodded and sank down to her knees and hugged the giant dog.

Tara smiled at us, nodding towards the door.

We followed, pulling Adeline out with us.

"I'll go get the things you'll need for her." Tara said.

"She's giant Tyler." Josh said.

"I know..but we both know Addy needs her." I said. Adeline was standing by Josh, holding his hand loosely.
