Finding Tsubaki

Hello my beautiful fans, I love you all. Thanks for sticking with me, yes I suck at updating, no I'm not abandoning you. I'm actually updating with my phone right now so I just spent the last 5 minutes arguing with the app trying to figure out how to edit. I have gotten out of my block and funk and I'm starting anew. I've reread the story and all my ideas came back. I'm here, I'm sure some of you are queer, and were gonna complete this story! Actually I'm completing this story in like a few more chapters, ya'll are just gonna sit back and enjoy!

Kid POV:

Stheno released me after I called my father and informed him of the situation. He agreed to hold off, but in more or less words said Stein would be nearby with a group of experienced weapons and meisters(sp?).

I will not lie, it hurt my pride allowing that witch the control over me... But I would not risk any of my team or the lives of the civilians here over something as foolish as pride. Stheno did reveal something very important though. Maka was alive and she could be freed.

After the call with my father Stheno gave me Euryale's game rules. So I would continue as I had, using Soul Perception I could see Soul and Black Star almost at Tsubaki's current position. I couldn't understand why neither of the witches or any of the kishin eggs were even attempting to approach her. Something wasn't right. And their names... Stheno... Euryale... They sounded familiar. Where had I heard these before?

Soul's POV:

Black Star was looking much better than when I first found him but I was still worried about him. And I didn't help that we both were riled up by Euryale torturing Maka. I swear I saw red when I heard her pained cry.

We turned another corner and we caught a glimpse of Tsubaki's after effects of her smoke bomb form.

"She's been here." Black Star noted. He leaned down and looked down the interlocking corridors, one way went left the other right. He looked down and I was surprised to see he was watching the movement of the hazy smoke.

"If she's been the only one through here the smoke will move according to the last movement made. It's a trick we made back when we first became partners had we ever been separated." Black Star explained.

He stuck a finger in his mouth then held it up into the smoke. "No breeze." He muttered off handedly. Then he stood and pointed towards the left.

"She went that way."

I nodded and we both ran down the long hallway, but something kept tingling in the back of my mind. Something about the other voice we'd heard when all our conversations were connected. Something like a... a distant memory, something darker that I couldn't quite bring to the surface.

"Tsubaki!" Black Star shouted as we finally caught sight of her. She smiled relief.

"Thank goodness you found me."

Kid POV:

I'd run into another group of kishin eggs and decided to check back on Soul and Black Star, they'd gone the opposite way from Tsubaki!

And they were conversing with another soul that I couldn't get a clear reading on... Wait... No clear reading....

"Liz, Patty..."

"Yeah, Kid?" They asked in sync.

"Soul and Black Star found our first witch."

Short, but I'm updating more often! Forgivith me, I'll return soon!!! But seriously, what's up with everything happening!?
