🌹M O A N I🌹
A boy stated, "Just get up and go out there." His deep voice vibrant over the music.
I turned my head to see the finest light skin I think I'd ever seen in my life. He looked out facing the crowd.
I put my hand on my chest, "Uh, are you talkin' to me?" I asked as I looked beside him seeing an empty seat.
"Who else? You the only one sitting down not doing a damn thing."
I rolled my eyes and stared at him, he had big pools of honey for eyes and pink pulp lips. His head was the shape of an oval and his nose was slender and stubby. On top of his head sat a big curly Afro with golden tips. He also wore all black just like me. But, his muscles threatened to burst out his shirt.
"I don't dance..."
Starts to play: Future~Wicked
He laughed, "Everybody dances. You just need to loosen up some."
"I'm serious I don't even like parties. I was supposed to be here with my friend but she left me." I looked down.
"Shit, that ain't yo friend then. Come on get up!" He grabbed my arms trying to pull me off the stool.
"Noooo.." I whined as he yanked me onto my feet.
He walked me over to the kitchen island where alcohol bottles and red cups sat.
"What you drink?" He asked as I read each bottle.
I bit my lip, "I don't drink..."
I never drank before, I never got drunk or high. When you have a brother like Hakeem that finds out everything first, he protects you from anything.
He smacked his lips and waved me off, "What do you do then? Well, you at a party now so you might as well start." He grabbed a red cup and poured out whatever was left in a blender into it.
I rolled my eyes, "Peer pressure much?"
"It ain't peer pressure in these conditions. You know you want to loosen up plus, I ain't yo 'friend' I ain't gon Leave you by yo self."
"Margaritaaaa.." he sang rocking his head while passing it to me.
I snickered, "You're so ugly." I backed up onto the counter and chugged the drink.
"You don't drink?" -he laughed- "Watch yourself."
"Mmm."-I whined holding my head- "Brain freeze."
Starts to play: G-Eazy~No limit
"That's what you get for trying to show off." -he laughed- "It was cute though."
Soon enough Chris made his way in dancing with a bottle of Hennessy and cups in both hands.
"Moreeeee drinks!" He sang.
"Ayeeee!" the boy hyped him up.
"More cupsss oooo!" He sang before bursting into laughter.
