Jessica stood up and grabbed the Starbucks off my dresser, "Moani don't you think he involved in some type of... I guess thuggery." She took a sip.

"No. Why would I even think that?" I chuckled.

Lucas seemed to innocent and to chill to be involved in that life. In that madness. He never had a violent or "thuggish" way of reacting to anything.

"Well for one he's only 17 and a manger. You can't be no manager without at least a diploma."

"Maybe he got a parent that runs the business and let him get that position." I shrugged.

"Honey, trust me if he had it like that he'd tell you he got it like that." -she turned to look at me- "So you saying nothing strange has happened like someone staring at you while hanging out with him?"

Jessica asking that made me rethink everything abnormal. The people looking at me melichously, and the random calls he'd get.

I cringed my teeth, "Maybe he is involved in something, but I refuse to think it's anything major." I waved her off.

Jessica raised her eyebrow and reorganized my dresser, "You better watch out. I can tell you starting to see some of his actions differently."

Even after everything that happened to me; the only thing I could think about was Aries.

Any day he would be taken away from me; for being physically unstable. It was just a matter of time.

"Nigga!" Hakeem shook me.

I looked at him and he folded his arms, "What?" I asked dully.

He pointed to the TV and turned it up.

"If you see my son please call us he is very unstable!" -My mom sobbed pulling the microphone closer- "He goes by the name Chris Brown."

I scoffed. Anything for clout man.

I shook my head, "She don't care about where I am, she just want her car back."

"Yo! Yo mama just got on the news tellin' everybody you unstable, and that's all yo ass took from that?"

"You needa go to court. File some shit to get full custody of Aries. Based on what you just told me; Tina the one that's unstable."

I sighed and leaned back, "Can I just see him now?"

"Man do you." He picked up the remote.

"Where—"

"Guest room." He pointed.

He wasn't lying about the custody part, but I needed to make amends with my parents to get my money. I needed to live on my own. Just me and my son.

I walked passed the kitchen and heard a familiar voice. A females voice. I went towards the sound seeing a girl on the phone.

I looked at her face realizing it was Zelda. We hardly talked when were little but, she was steadily getting on my nerves and I did the same.

"She wants me to tell him about Jacob being his son. She's fed up with the whole Jacob's just my little brother shit." She said on the phone.

I looked around before stepping in seeing Aries asleep beside her.

She looked at me, " I got to go." She quickly hung up.

"So yo ass came back down here wit some secrets of yo own. Federal ass." I stated walking towards the bed.

Wasn't much of a surprise. She was always keeping secrets.

"What you mean? I have no secrets to keep." She said oblivious to me hearing her conversation.

"Who's Jacob's pops?"

Her face became pale and her mouth gaped open, "I um I..." She stuttered.

I folded my arms, "Damn, Zee. I never knew yo lying ass to be a stutter."

She was always outspoken, said what was on her mind, and quick to tell a lie.

"..Is it Tyler's?" I asked.

I wouldn't have been surprised Tyler and her stayed playing around when we were kids.

She shook her head, "Its none of your business Christian."

She knew calling me that was gone hype me up. She loved getting under my skin, but that shit wasn't gon work.

I shrugged, "Suit yourself. We'll all find out eventually. How old is he?"

She was only in 6th grade middle school before she moved away. When did she even get pregnant?

"6." -She smirked- "He's yours."

I furrowed my eyebrows, "Girl, I never fucked you."

I knew better not to we all knew she was fast. It wasn't no secret. Either get a baby or a STD from sex. Luckily I just got a baby.

She laughed and stood up, "...but me and you both know you wanted to." She slowly walked towards me.

My eyes widened. I ain't know if she just joking or not, "uhm...ARIES!!" -I rushed over to the bed- "Let's go bug."

He rubbed his eyes and reached out for me clenching and unclenching his small hands.

I picked him up and he laid his head on my shoulder.

I looked towards the door seeing Zee blocking the doorway.

"Yo! Zee. Move." I walked in front of her. Hoping she'd move.

She looked in my eyes and touched my cheek, "Why you in such a rush? We haven't even caught up yet."

I slapped her hand off, "Ever since you moved you got more crazy."

I'd never put my hand on a female but damn I wanted to push her out the way. BADLY.

Her eye twitched, "Fine. Just don't tell anyone about what you heard."

She turned around and opened the door while purposely grazing me with her booty. Once she was out the way I rushed out the door. No one knew she acted like that but me. Pure crazy.

Just like that it was done.

I looked at Dynasty's brother. His body laid lifelessly on the concrete.

I looked over at Dynasty as she sat on the sidewalk with her arms wrapped around her legs. I stuffed the gun in my pants and walked towards her.

The closer I got the more terrified she became. She rocked back and forth mumbling things.

I put my hand out but, she didn't even look at me. I sighed and picked her up.

She started to hit my back, "Your crazy! Your crazy!"she repeated.

I pulled of my mask, "Dynasty it's me!" I put her down.

I shook her, "It's me..."
