I guess our universes were wrong crossing paths with each other. A world upon another makes the other chaotic.
And as mine was already tumultuous as it was, meeting yours tumbled it more to a real distortion.
We thought we could handle it, like literal kings and queens, but we were yet to face and fight innumerable disasters. After all, we were just bones and flesh filled with stories and emotion.
We got washed up by a tremendous tsunami, and our belongings were swallowed gone by the hurricanes, until all that was left was us.
But we knew, rebuilding things while holding onto each other would do no good. And so we let go, untangled the universes that had crossed path.
And so we let go, the chaos and the distortion, even though we knew we'd miss the fracas and pain.
