He's a lyricist. She's a poet.
He inks about love. She writes about heartaches.
He has dreams. She has nightmares.
He is full of hopes. She is swimming in despair.
He sings like angels. Her voice is shattering glass.
His weapon is promises. Her guns are her poems.
He is in love. She is afraid.
His eyes are fireworks bursting a thousand colours. Hers are unlit caves.
As he is holding out his hand for her, she's drowned way deep into the darkness to reach.
He is a hopeful lyricist in love with a desperate poet drowned in her own darkness. But she keeps missing shots of her poems while she's down by his dreamy promises.
