Chapter 8: The outside

Allens hospital room

"A DEMON?" Lisas voice echoed through out the pack hospital Allen was still in bed when his mother came and started shouting. "You made a contract, of all things, with a DEMON!!!"

"Calm down, woman!" Harold said. Lisa glared at her mate.

"Mom, please understand. We had no choice at that time."

"Damn it!! I'm gonna kill that bastard!!!" Lisa tried to go out of the room but Harold took a hold of her then carried her in his shoulder. "Put me down Harold! NOW!"

"Nah. I'd rather put ya down in ma bed." Harold said with a grin on his face. "Ge' well, son. I'll be takin' you mother cuz shes gotta lot of calmin' down to do."

"Damn it, Aplha!!"

"Shut up! The boy gotta rest!" Harold left while carrying an angry luna on his shoulder. Allen sighed relief when they were gone.

"Youre mom is feisty!"

Allen snapped his head and saw Stephen standing by the window.
"How long have you been there!!?"

"Long enough. So master whats my first assignment? Who do I get the pleasure of tearing them limb from limb." He said with an innocent smile. An expression you'd see from a kid whos asking his mom to buy him a new toy.

"None but I do want to ask you a few questions..."

"Oh by all means." He smiled and bowed elegantly. Allen inhaled deeply "before... In the forest... What did you call my wolf?"

"Oh, I see. No one has explained to you? How old are you, master?" Stephan asked.

"Just Allen is fine. And I just turned 16."

"Hmm... Young, newly shifted and ignorant of the darkness surrounding you. Your innocence is outstanding, master!"

Allen glared at stephan. Allen was no fool. He knew stephan was stronger but he also knew that he had the upper hand. At times like this I should thank Kean for his stupid Ideas.

"Get to the point."

"Oooh... Arrogant as well. Spoken like a true alpha!!" Stephan squealed with delight. Mystery filled this man. A demon is what his mother called him but Allen did not know what she meant. There are other supernatural beings in this world but this was his first encounter with a demon.

"Why did you agreed with Keans idea? You had the advantage. You are stronger. So why?"

"Demons are strong beings but dependent as well. Humans have a misconception about us. According to books and legends, demons are nasty creatures filled with sin, evil and destruction but in reality we are just like any other supernaturals. Well, except for a fact that we feed on peoples negative emotions and have this incredible obsession with contracts." He chuckled then tilted his head. "Aside from being moonkissed, Why does darkness loves you so?" he said as if asking someone other than Allen. He kept saying things the boy could not understand.What is the nonesense this man is talking about? Darkness?

"That was random. What do you mean? Moonkissed??"

He chuckled.

"You are not answering my questions!"

"In time, answers will come to you sliver wolf but as of now, I see that my services is not yet required but I know you will need me in the end. Your soul is yet to be painted with sin. Oh how beautiful it might be when its stained darker than the night sky." He waved his hand and took a bow. And as sudden as he appeard, he vanished into thin air.

Third Person POV

"We found him." A dark figure stared at the alpha pup as he was being dragged into the hospital.

"Are you sure? He dont look tha' much." Giggled with a piercing voice, the smaller figure. "Hush, woman. That is the child. Now the stage is set. How will the actors portray their roles?" a wicked grin embarked its way. "Watch over the boy and see to it that his heart becomes tainted darker than black." the smaller figure squealed in delight. "Ooooh... This is gonna be fun."

"whatever happens, report back to me."

"Does that mean I gotta work overtime?"

The larger figure growled "Shut up and do as youre told."

Sighed, "Fine. But ya gotta pay me extra fer this."

Then both of the strange figures retreated back into the shadows.

Meamwhile...

"Your highness, please you must get ready. There had been a call for the council to assemble." said Sebastian, his most loyal servant.

"nonesense, the council can take care af all minor details to the kingdom. It is not necessary for me to go." he then slouched down to the sofa while holding his favorite book.

"Your highnesss, you are required to participate. Your coronation is just around the corner. You must show your earnestness to govern us all or they may think you are incompetent and a rebellion may arise."

"damn it. If you werent my friend I would have already cut off your head."The eldest of brothers and heir to the throne who governs all supernatural, Prince Alvient de Cruse Fermonte. This was how they converse bu of course only in private or else sebastian would have been accused of treason against the crown.

"No doubt that you would but you wont because I speak of the truth and Just admit that I am smarter than you."

The prince chuckled, "Riiight but I stil wont go."

"Your majesty." A man not older than thirty approached the young prince. If sebastian was his right hand this man would his left. Both of them were his limbs, his eyes, his ears.

"Goodwick, my friend, nice to see you."

"My prince there had been a movement according to the oracle. A moon kissed child is found."

"Moonkissed?" astonished by the remark the young prince stood and dropped his book. "My, my. I thought that moonkiss is just a legend."

"Apparently not. It speaks the truth. Perhaps the legend was a prophecy after all."

"okay so why-?"

"It will be discussed in the meeting."

The princes face lit up, "Then let us get ready."

Both of them bowed and prepared the prince for the council meeting. "I am curious though. Is the moon kissed child?"

"Female, sire."

"The better!!!"
