Chapter 10: The Flames-part 2

Bright light covered the forest as it was engulfed by flames.

March of warriors beat on the cold hard ground.

Snarls and growls of men that turns to beasts were heard through out the land.

Battle has come. Battle we shall.

Flashback

"Aden!!" A pretty little thing rushed to his side. "Wait up!!"
Gold hair with a gentle curl. Warm smile and bright eyes.
She was like an explosion in the sky, like fireworks, firecrackers that fills the night.

"hurry up! Henrys already ahead of us." Dark as ebony, his hair. With blue orbs watching her.

"Come on, guys!! I'd race ya!!"Henry shouted. His light brown hair and hazel nut eyes saw the world in a different light.

The three raced Towards the peak. Of the mountain. Laughter of the three children echoed as they dance around the suns ray.

"We'd always be friends right?" asked aden.

"definitely." both Henry and Lisa replied.

A promise worth for a lifetime.

Present

"Evacuation has been running smoothly Alpha." Beta Kris assured Alpha Henry.
"What 'bout the reinforcements in the southern boarders?"

"Already takin' care of."

Though his heart was still uneasy, Henry had to go into battle. Worrying about his pup, He sighed. "He takes it from 'is mother, doesn't he?"

"Yeah, sure. Blame me." Luna Lisa came to his mates side and held him tightly. "Hes safe. I saw him with Kean and the dispatched unit arrived just in time."

"I'll take my leave then." beta kris said which they didn't even notice.

The warmth of her hand burns him in an embrace. His little fire cracker. "Told dya. He got it from you."

They looked at each others eyes, locked, filled with love and desire. This time Alpha Henry took his mate in his arm and hugged her even tighter. Every battle that they have gone to had always been hard. Not knowing when it would be their last. Their opponent this time is not an easy one as well. He is but an old friend.

Henry slightly lets go of Lisa for him to able to claim her lips. "I love you. "He whispered.

"Always." She replied.

"Always."

They made their way to their army of a hundred. Against their enemy, they have the disadvantage in number but Alpha henry knew better. His pack is strong. His people is strong. And he will lead them to victory once more.

"I see that determination is burnin in each of ya. Ya ol have somethin' to fight for. We all do. We stand in 'er battle not to harm others but to protect our own. These chumps won't know what hit 'em! We will fight! For our own family, our friends, our loved ones, for our pack. We fight FOR OUR OWN!!"
Cheering of warriors echoed through out the land as the march of the enemy drew nearer.

"Their attacking us from both sides. We must proceed with caution." Beta kris warned.

Alpha Henry went forward in order to face the enemys Alpha, Alpha Aden.

"Is this how ya greet yer ol' friend? Its not very nice, Aden."

"Henry." His eyes had darkness and his heart is broken. Clearly anyone can see that this his wolf had already gone mad. "Return what was taken from me and I shall bid you no harm."
