Allen and kean threw Kevin in the pack dungeons to keep him from his violent outbursts and of course for kiara's safety as well.
"...rine." Kevin kept mumbling inside his cell. "You... thrine." His eyes roaming each cold wall of the area. Disoriented and confused as he kept mumbling to himself. His eyes landed on a pair that was staring at his pathetic state. He reached towards those eyes till he was blocked by the steel bar that was between them. His arms stretched out and tears began to fall. "Help... me. Find.... my... katherine... I-I can't... f-find... where's my Family?"
Kean was struck by his words.
Without words he turned his back, leaving the confused man behind, with heavy breath and flooding eyes as he walked out of the holding cell. He staggered.
He closed his eyes and felt his heart break like it was never broken before.
Kean.
Each time he closes his eyes a scene, that moment keeps hunting him like a beast trying to eat his prey.
Kean... run!
Allen and Beta Chris came and comforted Kean as much as they can. Allen patted his shoulder to reassure him that he is not alone.
"I understand that this confuses the both of you but you need to rest for now." Beta Chris said "Go home. You still have a match tomorrow."
"We can't be thinking about the match at a time like this. Uncle, we have a serious problem here. He needs to see a pack doctor." Allen urged.
"Yes but I have an Idea of whats going on here and I don't think its time for the two of you to know-!"
"No! We want to know!" Kean said firmly.
"You don't understand. It's dangerous. Trust me Kean. It won't do you good to keep pushing. Right now, I have to keep you kids safe." Beta Chris said.
"That's my father in there!" Keans eyes were turning red and his hands were curled into a grip which was trembling in frustration. "There was a man I used to know, who loved his family more than anything in the world, whom protected his pack with all his might and damn it, he was a great dad but now... now... he turned into this!" Kean slumped down on the floor with his back falling on the wall. "He can't recognize his own family, left his children for a goose chase, disregarded his pack, and he looks like... he just... he just looks like he's so broken."
No one will understand how he feels. How could they? He was there. He watched everything unfold like a story book with a terrible story line.
"This is a battle you can't win."
Allens head shook in disagreement. Lets wager then. If I win you've got to tell me more than your hiding right now."
"Wager?" The old man raised his brow and said " this isn't a game Allen"
"If I win against kallum, I will have rights over the position as alpha and as such I will demand what I need to know." Allen turned his heel and took kean with him. They stormed off and left the old man stupefied.
Meanwhile,
Kallum sat inside his room contemplating on how he would destroy his cousin in one go. He knew what his cousin was capable of. But the same goes for himself. If he doesn't believe in himself, who would right?
