Jasmines POV
(At the Lightmoon pack hidden evacuation center.)
As everything went into chaos, Fear erupted from me. I couldn't see my mate anywhere.
Where could kean be?
My wolf has been on the edge worrying about him but I couldn't just leave. I went to the pack school as Allen instructed me. Maris, a middle aged shewolf, the school head was very delighted to hear that I was going to help out but then all of a sudden we heard a loud explosion coming from the southern part of the packs territory. Everyone seemed terrified but calm like they knew it was gonna happen. It was weird.
The adults guided the children to the evacuation area using a special route around the forest. The children were holding tightly to the adults. Others were crying and some were too terrified that they had to be carried.
"Whats going on?" I asked. Maris just smiled awkwardly and said,"It'll be fine deary. The alpha and warriors will protect us but for now we have to prioritize the safety of these children." I just nodded and walked with them.
Out of the blue, I felt a little hand tugging the hem of my dress. I bent over and smiled, "Yes, sweety?"
"Have you seen my brother?" a little girl with straight black hair and hazel brown eyes, that almost shine like it was golden, looked at me with worry in them.
Those eyes seems familiar.
"Miss, have you seen my brother?"
"Oh, your brother? Well I dont know. You see, I'm just new here." she frowned and seemed like she was about to cry. "Tell you what? How about you come with me and I'll help you find your brother. What do you say?"
She wiped her teary eyes and said, "he said never to go with strangers... " I chuckled. this little girl was smart. "Oh, I see."
"But I think you're nice." she said smiling and took my hand.
"Whats your name?" I asked.
I'm sure they could hear the march of unknown wolves into our territory. My heart ached for the children. I pray everything to be alright.
Keans POV
Allen carried me on his shoulder as we entered the evacuation area. "Dude, I'm fine. I'm mostly healed anyway!!"
"That was a close call Kean! What the hell were you doing there!!"then he dropped me like a hot potato.
"Ouch!"As I was about to respond to my dear friends ramblings when...
"Omf." I felt two pairs of arms wrapped themselves around me. Two small ones on my left leg and longer ones on my shoulders. I wasn't able to keep my balance so we all stumbled down the floor. "whoa, nice to know I'm popular." I grinned. "Hello sweet cheeks!"
"Kean!!" my little sister Kiara cried her eyes out while gripping me into a tighter hug. I embraced her and patted her back gently. The I notice electricity rise to the touches of the other pair of arms that embraced me. Mate!
Jasmine buried her face on my shoulder and tightly embraced me. She wasn't crying but I could feel the relief and happiness from her hug. I want her. Urgh. Stupid mate bond!
Allen coughed and we burst into laughter.
Third persons POV
Each of them bore their teeth. Alpha Aden pounced and bit hard on Alpha Henry's right shoulder blade. He growled then threw Alpha Aden off of him. He landed on his paws and ran back towards his enemy and collided with him. Alpha Henry dug his claws deep into his skin. Alpha Aden whined then he ripped a few of alpha Henrys flesh. They both staggered but not losing to each others gaze.
