Moanas heart

Chapter 3

Moana's P.O.V

The meeting took longer than expected and man was I tried but there was still work to be done. I worked around the village until it was dark and everyone was getting ready for bed.

That's when I realized dinner with Ahe "Dammit" I said out loud.

I started my way towards his hut when I realized his torch was out. He was probably asleep already I will have to make it up to him later.

On my way to my hut I felt an odd sensation. When I got to my hut I felt a heaviness in the are and it seemed too dark.

Pushing the irrational feeling to the side I opened my door and was greeted by a dark hut only illuminated by the light of the stars through the window.

Suddenly there was a hand over my mouth and I was pushed against the wall.

"You don't realize whats good for you do you?" I recognized the voice it was Ahe but it was odd. It was alittle too deep and he felt cold.

" I've waited along time to do this. Moanaaa" He said into my ear he then inhaled deeply and said "You smell so good."

Just then I slammed my heel down into his toes and pushed him back knocking him on the floor. I tried to run for the door but he grabbed my leg and I tripped hitting landing on my wrist twisting it. Looking around I grabbed a stick that was a good size and hit him in the head and ran out.

Running through the wooded area trying to get to the beach. I tripped and starting crying "Maui why are you never here?"

I cried into my knees and I heard a twig break. I tried to get up and run but I ran smack dab into something hard but soft. I looked up and saw him.

Maui's P.O.V
~2 hours earlier~

I am going to do it, I am going to say something. I can't live with out her. But if she rejects me I will leave and probably go back to my island of rocks until enough time passes and I know she is gone. That last part hurt to think about I don't want to be away from her. Of all my years on this Earth I have never met someone quite like her.

I was crawling around in my beetle form near the village when I saw on of the villagers that I've seen with Moana before. He was walking back from the beach kind of looking odd.

Shaking it off I wandered off to the beach and sat on the spot where Moana usually sits.

I sat there in my normal demigod form and sat there for I don't know how long. Then there was a splash at my feet the Ocean was in front of me splashing my feet frantically.

"What know have you gone cooky dooks again?" I ask the ocean it moves in a shaking motion it kept motioning towards the wooded area behind me.

That's when I felt it I felt the fear and my Moana tattoo started to cry. I followed that feeling and I saw her curled up in a ball crying. I went to take a step towards her and she freaked and crashed into me.

A/N: I hope this an okay chapter.  I am really trying hard to come up with a good plot twist. Anyways Thanks for reading and feel free to comment some ideas or what I could improve on ! :)
