Chapter 6

Moana's P.O.V

Maui's arms are around my waist as we are sailing across the sea then he leans down and kissess my neck. I giggle alittle then his hands are running up and down my thighs and waist. Mmm his touch felt so nice. Then I felt pain pain everywhere, it felt like my body was on fire.

I'm jolted awake by a burning pain on my arm I look to my shoulder and yell "WHAT THE HELL IS THIS?!!!!" I see a mark that it bright red and it is of Maui's hook and Tefiti's heart. It looked like a tattoo with no ink although on the edges there was some black. Suddenly Maui jumps up from the floor beside my bed which makes me jump.

"Maui! What is this?!" I say gesturing to my arm. "Calm down Moana," he says while yawning " it appeared after you passed out last night. I dont know what it is." He looked at it and his brows furrowed "It's gotten darker" he mumbles to himself. He gets up and looks at me the immediately blushes and turns his head "uhmm your top.." he says.

I look down and see that it has slid down a considerable amount showing a whole lot of cleavage. Blushing so hard that I look like a cherry I fix my top. "Its okay now" I said feeling very shy now. He slowly turns and sits down next to me on the bed. His closeness makes my heart break out into a happy dance with a party of butterflies in my stomach. That feeling is there again and its stronger.

I noticed that Maui is just staring at me at a slight smile. When he notices that I caught him he blushes and looks away. "Soo..about the tattoo and what happened last night what are we supposed to do?" I asked breaking the awkward silence. "We need to go see Tefiti, I'm not sure what this means" he says why gesturing to the tattoo " but Tefiti can at least give us some answers." he said getting up from the bed and walking into the kitchen area.

I looked down to my hands and saw that my hand was still wrapped from last night but it didn't hurt. So I slowy unwrapped and moved my hand around it did not hurt at all. Maybe I didn't hurt it so bad last night. Just then Maui walked back in with a bowl of fruit and handed it to me.

~ later that day ~

I found myself by Maui's side at all times, I dont know if it because of what happened last night or something else. I feel so at ease next to him and there is that unexplainable feeling whenever I'm near him.

I'm pulled from my thoughts by my father "Moana you are cheif you can't just get up and leave when you want." he was irritated "Dad I have to go! The elders are here and so are you I think you guys can handle it for awhile at least till I find out what is happening." he sighed looking at me "Just please be safe Moana." he gave me a hug. "I always am dad."

Mother helped me pack food and supplies then she touched my shoulder she looked mesmerized by the marking "Do you guys have any idea what caused it?" she asked eyeing me with a slight look of worry I shook my head. "Ohh you're friend Ahe was found last night when they brought him to the healer he said to tell you sorry then he went unconscious. What was he sorry for Moana?" shocked but relieved alittle "We forgot about dinner that was probably it" I dont want to tell her what happened.

When we were done with 2 baskets of food and supplies she helped me carry them to the boat that Maui and I were taking to Tefiti which of course is the boat I took to get to Maui last time. I smiled as I remembered our trip. "Be safe my little minnow." my mother hugged me and we set off to Tefiti.
