Maui's P.O.V.
Pain surged through my body but I could let those things hurt Moana. I could keep going on but she needed to hide. "Moana you need to go and hide that thing is a demon and it can do anything."I am not leaving you Maui" she always had to be so stubborn I saw the demon raise a spear to Moana I pulled her around and felt it go through my stomach.
It hurt so bad but I refuse for her to get hurt. Before I could do anything she got behind and leapt at the demon and put a pulsing blue spear through it chest but a black one was protruding out of Moana's back I heard the demon scream and the spear disappeared I caught her as she fell back.
"Moana?! No Moana why did you do that?" She looked at me and smiled I started crying "I...love you" she said barely above a whisper then her eyes closed "NOO!!! Moana please don't leave me you can't leave me!" I couldn't help but cry "I love you Moana.."
Moana'a P.O.V
I was standing over the water I could see my body in Maui's arms he was so sad.
"You love him enough to sacrifice your life for him?" I heard Tefiti ask me "I would do it for anyone that I care about." I said to her but I couldn't peel my eyes away from Maui. "But would you Live for someone?" She asked I turned around and gave her a questioning look "I would live everyday if it meant I could be with Maui."
I could feel a tear roll down my cheek I wanted to go comfort Maui and tell him that I was alright. Tefiti walked up to me and we touched foreheads I felt myself drifting back into my body I could feel Maui arms around me then the land moved and Tefiti arose from her sleep I looked at Maui and his eyes went wide he pulled me into a hug. Tefiti then lifted us up And spoke "Moana... you are now the demigoddess of the ocean your power will be the greatest near the water and the ocean will always be your ally. You will watch over all of the islands and the waters that surround them. Your strength will help the voyagers, your love will help the creatures of the water prosper."
She leaned her head to mind and this time when our foreheads touched I could feel an immense power go through my body. All of my tattoos were final and I could feel the difference. I could hear the waves of the ocean that is father away that I can see. I could feel the life of the water and the creatures in it, it was amazing.
She then turned to Maui "You have found someone very special Maui, do not lose this chance to feel love. Enjoy every moment together and make the most of time that you spend together."
I saw Maui nod "I will." We bowed to Tefiti and she set us down as she laid down to sleep once again.
We just turned to each other and just held each other "I thought I'd lost you Moana" I could hear that Maui was holding back tears "I thought I lost you too." I whispered as a tear rolled down my cheek. We then kissed a passionate deep kiss, I didn't want to stop I wanted to feel this forever. Maui then kissed my neck "How bout we get back home" I had shivers run down my back "What about the boat it..." I turned to see the boat at the shore. The ocean popped up and splashed us it think in a good way. "Thank you ocean" We hopped on the boat and set a course to forever.

"Maui" I called out making my way to the shore. He stood there in the evening sun looking out towards the water. He turned to me and motioned for me to join him. "Ya know princess, I thought I'd had it all, the fame, the love." He looked me deep in the eyes and gave me a peck on the lips "But it is nothing compared to the love I feel with you." He stopped for a moment I ran my hand up his arm wanting him to continue "Moana... Will you spend eternity with me as my wife?"
I was shocked, tears welled in my eyes "Yes Maui!" I jumped on him squeezing with all my strength. I pulled back and we kissed I overflowed with love and joy in that moment. I didn't think that my I could ever feel this happy. "I love you Maui." I said after I got a breath of air it always seemed to make me short of breath when we kissed like that. He then kissed my neck "I love you too Moana."
